The first week of December is observed as National Grief Awareness Week. It’s an important observance dedicated to raising awareness about grief and loss. It aims to break the stigma surrounding grief, acknowledging that it is a natural response to loss and can affect individuals in various ways. This week provides an opportunity to offer support to those who are grieving, foster understanding, and promote open conversations about this often-sensitive topic.

You’re not alone. Support is available to help guide you through any part of your grieving process. This National Grief Awareness Week, find resources to help: samhsa.gov/grief

🌍 Today is World Su***de Prevention Day.

The theme for 2024–2026 is Changing the Narrative on Su***de. That means moving away from silence and stigma and creating a culture of openness, empathy, and support.

Changing the narrative means talking honestly about su***de, listening without judgment, showing compassion, and making sure people can access the care they need. It also means advocating for policies and systems that prioritize mental health and invest in prevention.

And with every connection we nurture, every story we share, and every action we take, hope grows here. 🌱
