It's been a record breaking day for the KC Iowa Club's One Day for Iowa Campaign! Thank you to everyone who has made a gift already and thank you for to those of you who are still planning to do so! What a great start to our Endowment Campaign!

As we head into the evening hours of One Day for Iowa, we are requesting a "final push" to the Top Ten in "Number of Gifts". As of 5:30p CT, we are currently 26 gifts out of the Top Ten. If we are able to close that gap, we will have an opportunity to share $40,000 in additional funding provided by the University of Iowa. 40 more gifts at $10 each might do the trick! Can we take down a #1 seed at the buzzer?!

It's a Hawkeye Sunday Funday! The WBB team takes a big shot at UCLA in the B1G Tourney final @ 1:15p (CBS). At 4p, the MBB hopes to complete the sweep of Nebraska (FOX). The Other Place Downtown Overland Park and Beckett's in the Crossroads will be featuring both games! Let's Go Hawks!!!

There is still time to join us Thursday night, 1/29, at Beckett's for our annual Dance Marathon fundraising event. If you are interested in participating in our trivia contest, please email us at [email protected].

Cost to participate in our trivia event is $100/team of 4. We are planning to start trivia at 7p and will conclude before 8:30p. We are also planning to show the Iowa WBB game vs. USC at 8p. If you aren't interested in trivia, please stop by, check out Beckett's and watch the Hawks!!!

Prizes, participation gifts and appetizers will be provided. Beckett's will have a $5 beer special using our KC Iowa Club 20oz cups (you keep the cup!).
