As you enter, you’ll notice features designed with accessibility and inclusion at the forefront:

• ADA-accessible, extra-wide ramp entry points that comfortably accommodate mobility devices of nearly any size.
• Accessible Pathways that eliminate physical barriers.
• A fence around the entire playground area.

This is more than a playground—it’s a space where everyone belongs, plays, and connects.

So, we did a thing today - the official groundbreaking of Brody's Boundless Playground with the help of Variety Children's Charity of Greater Kansas City and the Michael and Brandy Rea Family Foundation.

This fully inclusive playground will feature accessible equipment, sensory-friendly areas, and a trail designed for walking and rolling together. It's a place where everyone can be active, social, and belong.

Heads up! Things are happening quickly at the Activity Center (151st St.) and we have an important update regarding parking and building access.

Starting Monday, February 9, the current parking lot at the Activity Center will be closed. Please use the NEW parking lot located to the east of the current lot.

Also, the front lobby will be closed during this time. The new entrance to the Activity Center will be located at the south end of the new parking lot, near the circle drive. Directional signage will be posted to help guide you.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to improve the Activity Center experience. These updates are an exciting step forward, and we’re grateful for your flexibility during this transition.
