May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Did you know our Community Policing Unit focuses on mental-health related calls to help connect people in the community with appropriate resources and support. One of the goals of this program is to reduce stigma around mental health crises while improving community safety and access to care with our partners at ELC.

Mental health challenges can affect anyone, and early intervention is key. This unit is dedicated to helping community members through a crisis.

A big shout out to our team members Master Police Officer Dowd and Crisis Co-Responder Campeau for their dedication to our community! 💙
