Clark Lindstrom, 17N Kansas Lion District Governor visited our Club on 4/28/2026. He awarded 35 year pins to Bruce Osladil and Jim Tawney. Those two fellas have been cooking funnel cakes for a long time! We appreciate their dedication and service to such a great organization. Here are some words from Clark Lindstrom:
It was an honor pleasure visit the Ottawa Kansas Lions Club yesterday afternoon to award two 35 years Length of Service Chevrons to Lion Bruce Osladil to my right and Jim Tawney to my left. Both are great kind people who, like the Club as a whole, are focused on providing assistance to others in need of sight assistance with financial help to pay for a significant increase in requests for vision screening, eyeglasses, and even cataract surgery from the Club. The Club meets for lunch at the Smoked Creation on the 2nd Tuesday and the Primetime Grill at noon the 4th Tuesday. Consider this your invitation to join them and join the Ottawa Lions Club asap. We need more members with more hands to serve the community more.🦁
