🧡 National Diaper Need Awareness Week — Day Two! 🧡

What’s the easiest way to help a family experiencing diaper need? Make a monetary donation! 👶🧷

Your donation can make an immediate difference for a child in our community. Tax-deductible charitable donations can be made to Integrated Community Planning (ICP) through Venmo:

👉 venmo.com/integratedcommunityplanning

And here’s the incredible part: just $10 can provide a child in need with 50 diapers this month! 🧡

For families already making difficult choices to make ends meet, access to a sufficient supply of clean diapers can be a game changer. Together, we can help make sure babies have the essentials they need to stay clean, healthy, and comfortable.

💛 $10 = 50 diapers
💛 Your donation = real help for a local family

Help us spread the word and make a difference during National Diaper Need Awareness Week!

🍼 DIAPER NEED AWARENESS WEEK — DAY 1 🍼

Diapers are more than a necessity, they’re an essential part of keeping babies healthy, comfortable, and thriving. 💙

In Oswego County, there are 4,669 children ages 3 and under. Of those children, approximately 2,700 live in households that struggle to make ends meet.

If the Oswego County Diaper Bank were to provide each of those children with a supplemental 50 diapers per month, the need would be staggering:

👶 1,620,000 diapers every year
💙 Approximately $324,000 in diapers

These numbers remind us just how significant diaper need is in our community, and why the work of the Oswego County Diaper Bank matters so much.

During Diaper Need Awareness Week, we’re shining a light on this often-overlooked challenge and the families right here in Oswego County who need our support.

🙏 A special thank-you to the Richard S. Shineman Foundation for their generous funding support. Your investment helps OCECA and the Oswego County Diaper Bank work toward ensuring local babies have access to the diapers they need.

Together, we can help keep Oswego County’s littlest residents clean, healthy, and comfortable. 💙

🌟 Calling All Parent Leaders in Oswego County! 🌟

Do you have a child (or children) ages 0–5 and a passion for making a difference for families in our community? The Oswego County Early Childhood Alliance (OCECA) is looking for parent leaders who want to volunteer their time, share their lived experience, and help improve supports for young children and caregivers across Oswego County.

We’re forming a Parent Advisory Council made up of parents and caregivers who want their voices heard and want to help shape programs, policies, and priorities that impact families like yours.

🧡 Who we’re hoping to include: one parent from each school district as well as a parent who homeschools, totaling 10 parent leaders across Oswego County.

Once the group is formed, we’ll meet for introductions and work together to choose a monthly meeting time that works best for everyone.

✨ No special experience needed; your voice as a parent is what matters most.

👉 Interested? Apply today: https://forms.gle/9rirELJG35MxsMKZ7

Please feel free to share this post with other parents who might be interested. Together, we can make Oswego County an even better place to raise young children. 💛
