📝 We Need Your Input!

What services and supports are missing for families in our community?

By taking a few minutes to complete our Environmental Screening Questionnaire, you'll help us better understand the needs of local families and identify gaps in services. Your feedback will help guide future planning and connect families with the resources they need most.

The questionnaire covers important areas including:
🏠 Housing
💼 Education & Employment
👨‍👩‍👧 Family Life
❤️ Child & Family Health
💰 Economics & Finances
🏘️ Community Resources

Every response helps paint a clearer picture of what families in our community are experiencing. Together, we can advocate for better support, stronger resources, and positive change.

Thank you for helping us build a stronger, healthier community for children and families! 💙

Calling all new and expecting moms 🤍
We’re launching something special: the Developmental Passport Program — and we’re looking for a small group of moms to help us build it from the ground up.
This program is designed to help you track your child’s development from ages 0–5 in a simple, meaningful way. Think of it as a “passport” that follows your child’s growth, milestones, and progress over time.
Here’s the important part:
We’re creating this WITH moms, not just for moms.
If you join, you’ll:
• Help shape what goes into the passport (what you love, what you’d change)
• Track your child’s milestones in an easy, organized way
• Complete short developmental screenings every few months
• Play a role in improving early childhood tools for other families
We’re starting with a small pilot group of about 100–200 moms, so spots will be limited.
If you’re pregnant or have a newborn and want to be part of something meaningful (and actually useful), we’d love to have you.
👉 Fill out the interest form here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdOFXCe7OB4B2AJ3v0X8iSBQg4AP_T32FBZoeP7oKdYxJWDPA/viewform?usp=publish-editor
Feel free to share this with another mom who might want to join 💛

🌟 Calling All Parent Leaders in Oswego County! 🌟

Do you have a child (or children) ages 0–5 and a passion for making a difference for families in our community? The Oswego County Early Childhood Alliance (OCECA) is looking for parent leaders who want to volunteer their time, share their lived experience, and help improve supports for young children and caregivers across Oswego County.

We’re forming a Parent Advisory Council made up of parents and caregivers who want their voices heard and want to help shape programs, policies, and priorities that impact families like yours.

🧡 Who we’re hoping to include: one parent from each school district as well as a parent who homeschools, totaling 10 parent leaders across Oswego County.

Once the group is formed, we’ll meet for introductions and work together to choose a monthly meeting time that works best for everyone.

✨ No special experience needed; your voice as a parent is what matters most.

👉 Interested? Apply today: https://forms.gle/9rirELJG35MxsMKZ7

Please feel free to share this post with other parents who might be interested. Together, we can make Oswego County an even better place to raise young children. 💛
