Can you believe that our first swap was SEVEN years ago today?? Thank you for keeping us going and keeping our mission alive. 💚💙♻️

Hello from Community Exchange for Change Board Members and our apologies for the silence on this account. Please know that the silence has not been due to lack of care or action or stance, it has simply been a result of us being actively involved in our community and on our personal pages.

Community Exchange for Change is for ALL. We stand with immigrants. We stand with all races, all backgrounds, all humans. We stand firmly and deliberately against ICE and all of the horror, tragedy, and fear that they have perpetrated in our state and across our country.

Reuse, recycling, waste reduction, elimination of slave labor, access, resources.... everything we do is pro-humans. It is our job to speak up and speak for those who cannot speak out due to substantiated fear. We all have a role in this global community.

This shirt was thrifted and brought to Art Price Printing for participation in their tireless effort to fill their role of screen printing a variety of images onto clothing brought in by community members.

Speak up. Speak out. Protest. Report. Provide mutual aid. Educate yourself. Create and maintain community. Protect each other.

Thank you for an incredible year of swaps! We hosted 265 attendees this weekend with the help of 16 amazing volunteers and 2 Board members! We are donating 1 box of non-perishable food and 40 big bags of clean, great condition clothing items to Osseo High, People Serving People, Caring and Sharing Hands, and ❤️

Thank you for showing up and supporting our community! In 2025 we hosted a total of ✨️809 attendees✨️ and donated ♻️126 huge bags♻️ and 🍴2 boxes of food🍴 to local community organizations! Please continue to spread the word about Community Exchange for Change and keep an eye out for 2026 dates early next year.

If you have ever enjoyed one of our swaps and have the ability to donate funding, please donate on our website! We are desperately in need of funds to continue supporting our organization and providing these events free for everyone. Our storage unit is a critical asset for us to store our infrastructure and we need to have new clothing racks made to replace our racks that are starting to fall apart after serving us well for 5 years!!

Bridging needs more than 6,000 beds donated every year. Our greatest need is often full and queen sized mattresses and box springs. Please help by donating from your home or sharing this particular need with your network!

THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING OUR MISSION!!

Over the last 2 days we were able to host 237 attendees with the help of 13 volunteers and 2 Board members. We are donating 36 bags of clothing, shoes, and accessories to and a local shelter.

We cannot extend enough thanks to our volunteers and those attendees who donated money. It takes so much work and funds to keep this running but it is worth it!

See you September 20-21 for our last swap of the year!
