What a way to close out the 2025–2026 Scout year! 💙🧡

Last night our pack wrapped up the season with an EPIC Nerf battle, lots of laughs, dinner together, and a night full of well-deserved awards. Watching these Scouts run around, cheer each other on, and celebrate one another reminded us what Cub Scouts is really all about — friendship, growth, confidence, adventure, and memories they’ll carry for years.

This year brought campouts, service projects, new skills, challenges conquered, badges earned, and so many moments that helped these kids grow into stronger, kinder, and more confident young people. We are unbelievably proud of every single Scout and grateful for the families, leaders, and volunteers who make Pack 1001 feel like such a special community.

To our Scouts: keep being brave, curious, goofy, kind, and willing to try new things. You made this year unforgettable. ❤️

Now… let the summer adventures begin! ☀️🏕️🧭 Nerf darts may have been flying last night, but the memories will stick around a whole lot longer.

See you all in the 26-27 year, scouts will be back when school starts!

Huge congratulations to our Lion, RJ! 🏁🐾

This past weekend, RJ represented Pack 1001 at the TWO RIVERS DISTRICT Pinewood Derby held at The Mall at University Town Center — and wow, did he make us proud!

RJ raced his heart out and earned:
🥇 1st Place for the Lions Den
🏎️ 4th Place Overall in the district!

What an incredible accomplishment and such an exciting way to kick off his Pinewood Derby journey. The future is looking FAST for this Scout! 💙💛

Way to go, RJ! This is just the beginning! 🚦🔥

🌮🟢 Tonight our Cub Scouts celebrated Cinco de Mayo the Cub Scout way — with teamwork, laughter, and homemade guacamole! From mashing avocados to mixing ingredients, our Scouts showed what it means to “Do Your Best” while learning new skills and having fun together.

A Cub Scout “helps the pack go,” and tonight everyone pitched in to make this activity a success. We’re so proud of these Scouts for trying something new, working together, and making memories along the way.

Adventure is out there… and sometimes it comes with chips and guac! 🥑✨

Kickball Night = SUCCESS… and maybe a few sore muscles today 😅⚽️

Pack 1001 showed up READY this week! There were big kicks, questionable calls, lots of “I was safe!!” debates, and more laughing than actual running (for some of us 😂).

The turnout was amazing and it was so fun seeing everyone—kids and parents—jump in and play together. It was a whole lot of energy, chaos, and good times.

Pretty sure the real winner was whoever didn’t have to run the bases… 😆

Thanks to everyone who came out and made it such a fun night—these are the moments that make our pack so special! 💙🎉

What an unforgettable adventure for Pack 1001! 🐾🌿

This weekend, our scouts teamed up with Pack 77 for an incredible trip to Busch Gardens—and it did NOT disappoint! We had hands-on animal encounters with a tortoise, an indigo snake, and even elephants. The scouts were in awe getting to see sloths up close, and the safari ride was definitely a highlight—feeding giraffes and seeing them up close was something they’ll be talking about for a long time!

We also spotted rhinos, a crocodile, cheetahs, a lion, and so many other amazing animals along the way. 🦁🐊🦒

Some of our families kept the fun going and stayed an extra day to enjoy the rides and everything the park has to offer—because why not keep the adventure going?!

Experiences like this are what scouting is all about—learning, exploring, and making memories together. We’re so grateful for the time spent with Pack 77 and all the families who made this trip so special.

A few weeks ago, Pack 1001 had an unforgettable night visiting Fire Station 21—and it was one for the books! 🚒🔥 (Yes, this is a late post, but too good not to share!)

Our scouts got hands-on experiences they’ll be talking about for a long time—spraying a real fire hose, watching the “Jaws of Life” in action, climbing inside an ambulance, and checking out a fully equipped fire truck up close. The excitement on their faces said it all!

A huge THANK YOU to the incredible crew at Station 21 for taking the time to teach, demonstrate, and make it such a fun and memorable experience for our kids. Your dedication to our community does not go unnoticed, and you definitely made some lifelong impressions (and maybe even inspired a few future firefighters 😉).

We’re so grateful for opportunities like this that bring learning to life in the coolest way possible!

What a FULL Cub Scout kind of day! 🏁🏕️💙

Today our pack packed it all in — Pinewood Derby races (complete with intense focus, creative designs, and a few very proud pit crews 😄), our Arrow of Light crossover for Raiden as he officially moves on to his next Scouting adventure, and wrapping it all up with lunch together as one big Scout family.

Watching these kids grow in confidence, sportsmanship, leadership, and friendship is seriously one of the best parts of being part of this pack. From cheering at the finish line to celebrating milestones, today was a reminder of how special this community really is.

Raiden — we’re so proud of you and can’t wait to see what’s ahead for you! 🚀

🚀✨ What an unforgettable weekend for our pack!

Our pack just wrapped up an overnight adventure at NASA's Kennedy Space Center, and wow — this one will stick with us forever.

We were lucky enough to get small-group tours with knowledgeable guides, learned how rockets are built and launched, and even took a 2-hour bus tour behind the scenes of the space center. The highlight? Getting extremely close to the spacecraft preparing for Artemis II — the first crewed mission of NASA’s Artemis program, which will send astronauts around the Moon as a major step toward future lunar landings (and eventually Mars!).

For anyone who doesn’t know: Kennedy Space Center is where America launches human spaceflight. It’s operated by NASA and is home to historic launch pads, massive rocket facilities, and real flight hardware — basically, the heart of U.S. space exploration.

Between sleeping under rockets, learning how missions come together, and seeing the next generation of space travel up close, our scouts were completely inspired. Hands down one of the coolest educational experiences we’ve ever had.

So grateful for these memories and for giving our kids a front-row seat to history in the making 🌕🚀
