This is a free event where you can pick up new books, and leave old ones behind for someone else to enjoy 💖

It's Pride month, and we're celebrating rainbows 🌈

Bring your gayest books to swap with your besties so everyone can read the rainbow! If you don't have any gay books, have no fear, just bring whatever you'd like to swap out 💖

Bringing books to swap is not required to take home fresh books, but it is fun!

Howdy Oskaloosa Pride fam! We wanted to address some confusion regarding our social media accounts! 🌈

Over the weekend, during our Amateur Hour event, one of our volunteers prematurely shouted out a TikTok page that is actually not our OFFICIAL TikTok account. No hate to them, as they thought they were doing a good deed. As a result, that page keeps growing, despite not being our actual official account. We want to keep all of our socials consistent and managed through our official Pride email, with official Pride Committee members running it.

We would like to formally invite you to follow all our official accounts to stay up to date on our upcoming events! We have a lot in the next few months 💖

And please, no hate to the other account; they truly thought they were helping us 💖

Hey Osky Fam!

We just wanted to shout out a thank you to the businesses and individuals who donated to our silent auction. And an extra-large thank you to those who bid on items! It was such a success that we'll be doing it again next year.

Your support ensures we can come back and do it for years to come. Stick around, we'll be putting a call out for submissions sometime around the New Year.

Holy Rainbow Crash🌈 Yesterday was so amazing, we've been resting all day, and we're still pooped 💤

We can't thank y'all enough for all of the love and support you showed us. This was our 2nd year hosting Pride, and our first time out on the Town Square with an outdoor public Drag Show. 💖It was a fantastic turnout for all of our planned events throughout the day. Ya'll filled the Square with love and joy 🌈

A big thank you goes to all of our vendors, food trucks, and volunteers. We couldn't have done this without you.

An even bigger thanks to our Drag Performers, who brought such a fun and incredible energy to our small town. We hope to bring you all back next year! Or maybe sooner than that 🤐
