With the large volume of people attending this event comes some challenges.
One of those challenges is trying to include friends that do not own a boat or currently have the dreaded boat blues. (Boat is broken).

I am giving a call out to to our amazing group of captains to see if there are any boats that has an extra seat or two that would be so kind as to welcome aboard a fellow participant for the day.

Most of you will know by now that Eric Felix was with Brett on the evening that changed many lives forever, especially those of Eric's wife, Cali, and the Felix Towing family.

This weekend is not just about remembering and honoring one man... It's about two men that shared many of the same values. They inspired countless people through their hard work, willingness to give back, and helping others.

What began from a day that shook us all, grew into an idea that started small like a seed and grew into something huge called The Brett Gelbach Annual Fun Run presented by ShoreStation.

The idea was simple at first - Create something that could celebrate the life of our friend Brett and honor his legacy for years to come, while also raising money to help support young people looking to enter the trades industries.

Brett spent years building a career in the trades that eventually led him to creating Oshkosh Dock & Lift LLC and then later acquiring Boondocks Pilings and Piers. He turned his passion into a business and continued to grow them year after year with his well documented work ethic.

We are honored to welcome the crew and family from both Oshkosh Dock & Lift and Boondocks as honorary Diamond Sponsors for the Fun Run and we hope to see as many of the current and former members of those families at the event on Saturday!

Rounding out our sponsors and saving the biggest for the last!

Many of you know that Brett spent many years working for Boldt in various capacities, and even during the time when he was first starting Oshkosh Dock and Lift.
