Wild Rides: Friday Night Cruise-In Kicks Off June 12 at Shotmakers in Harrisville
HARRISVILLE, MI — Adries Angels RC & Car Club is proud to announce the kickoff of its
weekly Wild Rides: Friday Night Cruise-In, beginning Friday, June 12, from 5:00 PM to 8:00
PM at Shotmakers Sports Bar & Grill in Harrisville.
This new weekly event will bring together motorcycles, classic cars, and the community for an
evening of great food, cold drinks, music, and connection. Open to all, Wild Rides welcomes
riders, car enthusiasts, families, and anyone looking to start their weekends with a positive and
energetic atmosphere.
Each Friday night will feature:
● Motorcycles and cars welcome
● Food and drinks from Shotmakers
● Music and entertainment
● Weekly 50/50 drawings
● A relaxed, family-friendly environment
To make the kickoff event even more special, the evening will include a Blessing of the Bikes,
ofering riders an opportunity to come together for a moment of unity, safety, and protection as
the riding season begins. This meaningful addition reflects the mission behind Adries
Angels—to bring people together while promoting safety, awareness, and community support.
At the end of each month, Wild Rides will also host a Bike & Car Show with prizes, giving
participants a chance to showcase their vehicles and celebrate the passion behind the lifestyle.
“Wild Rides is about more than just bikes and cars,” organizers shared. “It’s about community,
connection, and creating a place where everyone feels welcome. Starting the season with a
blessing of the bikes is a powerful way to remind us all why we ride—and to look out for one
another.”
The event will take place weekly every Friday at:

In Reflection of Another School Year

As another school year comes to an end and the Class of 2026 celebrates graduation, I find myself reflecting on a different milestone.

This year, Adrie should have been completing her first year of college.

While graduates are celebrating new beginnings, college students are finishing another chapter of their journey. And as proud as I am of every student reaching their goals, I can't help but wonder...

What if?

What if Adrie had been given the chance to continue growing, learning, and chasing her dreams?

What if she had just completed her freshman year and was excitedly planning her sophomore year?

What classes would she have loved? What friends would she have made? What experiences would have shaped her future?

Most importantly, how much closer would she have been to becoming the child advocacy lawyer she dreamed of being?

We'll never know.

A life filled with promise, ambition, and purpose was taken far too soon. Every school year that ends reminds us not only of what was lost, but of all the milestones that should have followed.

To the Class of 2026, congratulations. Your hard work, dedication, and perseverance have brought you to this moment. Whether your next step is college, a trade, military service, or entering the workforce, I hope you embrace every opportunity that comes your way. The future is a gift, and each of you has the chance to make a difference in the lives of others.

As for us, we continue to honor Adrie the best way we know how.

Through Adries Angels, we work to keep her memory alive, raise awareness for child abuse prevention, support children and families, and continue the mission that reflects the kind of person Adrie was.

In the coming weeks, we will gather once again for our Annual Memorial Poker Run, celebrating her life and the impact she continues to have on our community. We are also beginning our Angel Monument and Memorial Brick Fundraiser, creating a lasting tribute where memories can be preserved and loved ones honored for generations to come.

While we cannot change what happened, we can ensure that Adrie's story continues to inspire action, compassion, and hope.

So today, as we congratulate the Class of 2026 and celebrate all that lies ahead for them, we also pause to remember a young woman who should have been finishing her first year of college, preparing for her future, and moving one step closer to changing the world.

If anyone would like to come and volunteer to run a game or help with set up or clean up. We have all the games and prizes. We just need some support from our members to put on a great event to give back to our community.
