Act of Kindness Gift for the Elderly Hello! My name is Jackie-Cook Whitehead and I created this page because I have a proposition for anyone who would like to join.

As for anyone who knows me they can testify that I have a big heart and I’m extremely caring, especially towards to elderly. My idea is that I want to start a group to help give the elderly some appreciation around Christmas. When most people think of Christmas they typically think of giving gifts to children and the homeless, whereas the elderly are the first people I think of. Many of them don’t

get visitors around Christmas and some don’t have anyone at all. A few years back I made gift baskets for a nursing home and the reactions I received from all of them were heartwarming, which is why I want to do just that again. My goal is to get a group together to help make gift baskets to deliver to nursing homes. I have already reached out to a couple nursing homes, and they have given me a list of ideas of what to buy. With your help, we can touch a lot of elderly hearts!
