Cheers to our VP and coach George. Congrats on your retirement!

Today, we proudly recognized Sergeant George Tsoukalas on his retirement after nearly 30 years of dedicated service to the Yarmouth Police Department.

Since joining the department in 1997, Sgt. Tsoukalas has served our community with professionalism, leadership, and unwavering commitment. From mentoring new officers as a Field Training Officer and Supervisor, to serving as a Fi****ms Instructor, Cape Cod Regional S.W.A.T. Team Leader, and member of our Peer Support Team, his impact on this department and the people he worked alongside is immeasurable.

We thank Sgt. Tsoukalas for his years of service, sacrifice, and leadership. As he begins this next chapter, we wish him a long, healthy, and well-deserved retirement filled with quality time with family, new adventures, and the opportunity to enjoy the moments that matter most.

Congratulations, Sergeant Tsoukalas, and thank you for your service.

Sharing an awesome program and opportunity for our hockey community! is offering a FREE summer learn to play program this July and August through . This free program lets anyone try out hockey because everyone deserves a shot!

Hockey Shot is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing local hockey scholarships and growing the game this summer their Learn to play program will be Tuesdays 3:30 @ Tony Kent AThursdays 5:00 @ Gallo Know someone who wants to try hockey? This is the perfect place to start- full hockey equipment is required as well as completion of a learn to skating program.
