FOUR CONTAINERS. ONE SHARED MISSION. A LASTING IMPACT. 🇯🇲❤️

Today marks another significant milestone for Right Now For Jamaica (RNFJ) as we officially handed over four containers of medical equipment and supplies valued at more than USD $250,000 to Percy Junor Hospital in Manchester, Jamaica.

These containers include much-needed medical equipment and supplies that will strengthen the hospital’s capacity to serve patients and provide quality care to the communities that depend on it.

This moment represents more than the delivery of equipment. It represents what is possible when partnership, purpose and people come together to create meaningful change.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Ambassador Audrey Marks and NHEF for their invaluable support in facilitating the clearing process and helping us get these critical resources where they are needed most.

A very special thank you to the leadership and administration of Percy Junor Hospital, Carlton Nichols, CEO, Dr. Carlos Wilson, CMO and Ms. Faith Sterling, Acting CEO.

Thank you for welcoming RNFJ as a partner and for working alongside us to make this a true partnership, built on collaboration, trust and a shared commitment to improving healthcare.

For RNFJ, this is not simply a donation. Percy Junor Hospital is a long-term commitment. We believe that sustainable transformation happens when we move beyond one-time acts of giving and work together to strengthen institutions and communities for generations to come.

THE CHAMPIONS BEHIND THE CAUSE 🇯🇲💙

Every successful initiative has people behind the scenes who refuse to let the vision remain just a vision.

For RNFJ’s support of Percy Junor Hospital, those champions include our Health Committee Co-Chairs and Directors, Dr. Trudy Hall and Rosalee Gordon.

From identifying needs and coordinating donations to managing the countless details required to move medical equipment from donation to delivery, Dr. Hall and Director Gordon have demonstrated extraordinary commitment to this mission. Alongside Director Ray Valmé, they mobilized the people, partnerships and resources necessary to ensure that four containers of medical equipment and supplies made their way to Percy Junor Hospital.

This is what leadership in service looks like: showing up, doing the work, solving the problems and staying committed until the mission is accomplished.

Joining Dr. Hall and Director Gordon at the official handover were RNFJ President Dr. Maurice Miles and Director Franz Hall, representing an organization united around one goal, creating meaningful and sustainable impact in Jamaica’s healthcare system.

Yes, we celebrate the equipment that was delivered, but we also celebrate the people who made the delivery possible.
