Meet the Founder

Yahkub Makendy Jacob is an educational leader, artist, and visionary dedicated to elevating people through education, music, and spirituality. With over 16 years of experience in student affairs and higher education, he is passionate about empowering learners from diverse backgrounds.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies from Florida International University, a Bachelor of Applied Science in Business and Organizational Leadership from Valencia College, and a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Palm Beach Atlantic University. He is currently a doctoral candidate in Higher Education Leadership and Management at Walden University.

Yahkub is the founder of Pathfinder Global Academy and the Pathfinder English Conversation Club, creating welcoming, community-centered spaces where non-native English speakers can build confidence, practice English, and grow together.
