๐Ÿšจ ORLANDO, FL โ€” SENIOR MAX NEEDS A FOSTER OR ADOPTER! ๐Ÿšจ

๐Ÿ’” 8-YEAR-OLD MAX NEEDS MORE MEDICAL CARE THAN THE SHELTER CAN PROVIDE. ๐Ÿ’”

MAX โ€” A555767
๐Ÿพ 8 years old | 55 lbs
๐Ÿ• German Shepherd mix
๐Ÿ“ Orange County Animal Services (OCAS)

Sweet Max came into the shelter as a confiscation case, and now this older gentleman needs someone willing to give him the safe, comfortable home he deserves. ๐Ÿฅบ

Despite everything heโ€™s been through, Max is described as such a good boy:

โค๏ธ Easily leashed
๐Ÿคฒ Allows full handling
๐Ÿพ Returns to his kennel kindly
๐Ÿ  Available for foster or adoption

Unfortunately, Max also has medical needs that require care beyond what the shelter can provide.

๐Ÿฉบ Old fracture of his left elbow that needs to be addressed
๐Ÿฆท Possible dental disease
๐Ÿฅ Needs evaluation and care through a full-service veterinarian

At 8 years old, Max shouldnโ€™t be sitting in a kennel needing medical care. He deserves a soft bed, a safe home and someone willing to show him that his best days can still be ahead of him.

๐Ÿถ DOG INFO: Max may be able to live with canine siblings with initial separation followed by slow and appropriate introductions.

๐Ÿ  FOSTER NEEDED โ€” fostering is temporary and can give a rescue somewhere safe for Max to land while his medical needs are addressed.

โค๏ธ ADOPTER NEEDED

๐Ÿ™ RESCUE NEEDED

๐Ÿ’ฐ MEDICAL PLEDGES NEEDED! Please comment your pledge amount below. Pledges can help offset the veterinary costs for the rescue that steps up for him.

PIPPA โ€” A602654

Look at those beautiful eyes. ๐Ÿฅบโค๏ธ

Pippa is a sweet, affectionate, housebroken 7-year-old girl who should be curled up in a home โ€” not sitting in a shelter with medical concerns and a deadline of August 18 at 5 PM.

Everything weโ€™re hearing about Pippaโ€™s personality makes her sound like an absolute sweetheart:

โค๏ธ Friendly and affectionate
๐Ÿฅฐ Seeks social interaction
๐Ÿฆฎ Easily leashed
๐Ÿพ Walks very nicely
๐Ÿคฒ Allows full and easy handling
๐Ÿ  HOUSEBROKEN

Unfortunately, Pippa also has medical concerns that need evaluation and care from a full-service veterinarian.

๐Ÿฉบ Grade 4/6 heart murmur
๐Ÿฉบ Pendulous mammary-chain mass
๐Ÿฉบ Firm mammary mass

These medical findings do not tell us what Pippaโ€™s future will be. They tell us that she needs proper veterinary evaluation โ€” something she deserves the opportunity to receive.

Right now, the most important thing is getting her out of the shelter and somewhere safe.

๐Ÿ  FOSTER NEEDED โ€” even a temporary foster can give a rescue somewhere for Pippa to go while her medical needs are addressed.

โค๏ธ ADOPTER NEEDED

๐Ÿ™ RESCUE NEEDED

๐Ÿ’ฐ MEDICAL PLEDGES NEEDED! Pledges are especially important for Pippa because they can help offset the veterinary expenses a rescue may take on. Please comment your pledge amount below.

๐Ÿ“ฃ PLEASE SHARE PIPPA EVERYWHERE. Tag rescues, medical fosters, adopters and anyone who may be willing to open their home to this sweet girl.

KAI โ€” A597575
๐Ÿพ 3 years old | 50 lbs
๐Ÿ“ Orange County Animal Services (OCAS)

Kai was adopted on 8/1.

By 8/2, he was back at the shelter.

His new home reportedly returned him after he growled at another dog. He was given less than 24 hours to adjust to a completely new home, new people, new smells, new routines and potentially another dog.

He wasnโ€™t given the time to truly decompress or get acclimated.

And now this 3-year-old boy is back at OCAS, finding the shelter environment extremely stressful โ€” with a deadline of August 18 at 5 PM.

Yet look at how Kai is described:

โค๏ธ Affectionate
๐Ÿฅฐ Seeks social interaction
๐Ÿฆฎ Easily leashed
๐Ÿคฒ Allows full handling
๐ŸŽพ Playful
โšก Energetic

๐Ÿถ DOG INFO: Kai may be able to live with canine siblings with patience, initial separation, and slow and appropriate introductions.

A shelter dog needs time to decompress. One growl during the first day in an unfamiliar environment should not define the rest of Kaiโ€™s life.

He needs someone who understands that bringing a dog home isnโ€™t always instant perfection. Sometimes they need patience. Sometimes they need space. Sometimes they simply need someone willing to give them a real chance.

Sweet Aries lost his home through absolutely no fault of his own. He was surrendered because his owner was being evicted. Now this 2-year-old boy has gone from living in a home to sitting in a stressful shelter environment with a deadline of August 18 at 5 PM.

Aries sounds like such a fun, sweet boy. โค๏ธ

๐Ÿพ Sweet and friendly
๐Ÿฆฎ Easily leashed
๐Ÿคฒ Allows full handling
๐ŸŽพ Very playful
๐Ÿงธ LOVES his toys โ€” so much that staff says itโ€™s difficult to get him away from them!

Aries is accustomed to living in a home, and shelter life has understandably been difficult for him.

๐Ÿถ DOG INFO: Aries has previously been paired with Chance, an intact male dog. He may be able to live with canine siblings with separation, patience, and slow, appropriate introductions.

This boy had a home. He had toys. He had a person. Then an eviction changed everything.

Please donโ€™t let losing his home lead to Aries losing his life.

๐Ÿ’” DUNKIN NEEDS A RESCUE, FOSTER & PLEDGES NOW ๐Ÿ’”

Dunkin is only 3 years old and 10.5 pounds. He was adopted from the shelter just last week, but was returned after his medical condition continued to worsen.

Now he is out of time.

๐Ÿšจ DUNKIN MUST HAVE PLACEMENT BY TUESDAY, 8/11 AT 5 PM. ๐Ÿšจ

Dunkin has developed severe sores and inflammation affecting all four paws, with areas of his paw pads actually peeling away. He also has sores between his toes, around his paws and on both elbows.

The shelter is concerned there could be a serious underlying medical condition causing this, possibly an autoimmune disease, liver-related skin disease, cancer or another condition. He needs diagnostics and veterinary care beyond what the shelter can provide.

He may need bloodwork, biopsies, specialist care and potentially longer-term treatment.

But first, he needs to make it out alive.

๐Ÿ™ WE NEED:

๐Ÿก A FOSTER OR ADOPTER willing to give this little 10-lb boy somewhere safe to land

โค๏ธ A RESCUE able to take him under their organization and get him the medical care he desperately needs

๐Ÿ’ฐ PLEDGES to help a rescue say YES despite the unknown medical costs ahead

๐Ÿ“ฃ SHARES โ€” especially in Central Florida and with medical rescues

Dunkin is only 3 years old. Whatever is happening to his little body, he deserves the chance to get answers and treatment. He should not lose his life because his medical needs are more than the shelter can manage.

Please help us get Dunkin out before 5 PM tomorrow.

Sweet little Bella (A599245) is only 1 year old and 30 lbs โ€” still just a puppy. She has a deadline at Orange County Animal Services on Tuesday, August 11 at 5 PM, and we desperately need a committed foster and pledges so a rescue can step up for her. ๐Ÿ™โค๏ธ

Bella came into the shelter as a confiscation, meaning her previous owner failed to provide for her. After everything she has already been through, this sweet girl deserves the chance to learn what it feels like to be safe and loved.

๐Ÿพ ABOUT BELLA:
โค๏ธ Only 1 year old
โค๏ธ Just 30 lbs โ€” the perfect little size
โค๏ธ Sweet and friendly
โค๏ธ Allows full handling
โค๏ธ Wiggly and excited to go for walks
โค๏ธ Walks nicely on leash
โค๏ธ Loves sitting in her handlerโ€™s lap ๐Ÿฅน
โค๏ธ Could potentially live with canine siblings with separation initially and slow, appropriate introductions

Bella becomes agitated when she has to go back into her kennel โ€” and honestly, who can blame her? She wants to be out of that kennel and curled up in someoneโ€™s lap.

๐Ÿšจ BELLA IS RESCUE ONLY, SO WE NEED A RESCUE TO STEP UP โ€” AND A FOSTER + PLEDGES CAN HELP MAKE THAT POSSIBLE.

๐Ÿก FOSTER: If you can temporarily open your home to Bella, please comment/message ASAP. Rescue covers medical care.

๐Ÿ’ฐ PLEDGE: Please comment your pledge amount below. Even $5, $10 or $20 adds up and can help a rescue say YES.

๐Ÿ“ฃ SHARE: Please share Bella everywhere. We have until TUESDAY 8/11 AT 5 PM.

GORDO NEEDS A FOSTER OR ADOPTER BEFORE HIS DEADLINE. PLEDGES NEEDED! ๐Ÿ™โค๏ธ

Meet sweet Gordo and his adorable little teeth. ๐Ÿ˜ญ This 5-year-old, 56-lb gentleman had a home and lost it when his owner surrendered him due to a move.

Now Gordo is finding shelter life incredibly stressful, and he needs placement by 5 PM TUESDAY, 8/11.

๐Ÿก WE NEED A FOSTER OR ADOPTER
โค๏ธ WE NEED A RESCUE TO STEP UP
๐Ÿ’ฐ WE NEED PLEDGES TO HELP A RESCUE SAY YES

Gordo has so much going for him:

๐Ÿพ Housebroken
๐Ÿ‘ง Reported good with children
๐Ÿก Accustomed to living in a home
๐Ÿฆฎ Walks very nicely on leash
โค๏ธ Seeks social interaction
๐Ÿฅน Gently returns to his kennel
๐Ÿถ Prefers female dogs and could potentially live with a canine sister

Gordo is described as a gentleman. He enjoys independently exploring the play yard but also seeks out his people. He walks beautifully on leash and gently returns to his kennel when asked.

But this sweet boy desperately needs to get back into a home.

He knows what having a family feels like. He knows how to live in a home. He was surrendered because his owner was moving, and now he is struggling with the stress of suddenly living in a shelter.

๐Ÿšจ PLEASE HELP US SAVE GORDO BEFORE TUESDAY. ๐Ÿšจ

๐Ÿก FOSTER: If you can temporarily open your home to Gordo, please reach out. Having a committed foster may allow a rescue to step up and save him.

โค๏ธ ADOPT: If Gordo sounds like the missing piece of your family, please consider giving him the permanent home he desperately needs.

๐Ÿพ RESCUES: We need rescue commitment for Gordo. Please reach out if your rescue can help.

๐Ÿ’ฐ PLEDGE: Please leave your pledge amount in the comments. Pledges can help provide the financial support a rescue needs to take him into their care.

๐Ÿšจ๐Ÿšจ ORLANDO, FL โ€” 5 PM DEADLINE TUESDAY 8/11 โ€” FOSTER, RESCUE AND PLEDGES NEEDED ๐Ÿšจ๐Ÿšจ

POLARIS HAS A DEADLINE. WE NEED A FOSTER TO HELP SAVE HIS LIFE.

Big, gorgeous Polaris is 5 years old and 83 lbs. He was adopted last year, but heartbreakingly was found as a stray again in July. Now he is back at Orange County Animal Services and needs placement by 5 PM TUESDAY, 8/11.

We desperately need someone willing to FOSTER POLARIS so a rescue can step up for him. ๐Ÿ™

And this boy has SO much going for him.

๐Ÿพ Housebroken
๐Ÿพ Allows full handling
๐Ÿพ Easily leashed and walks nicely
๐Ÿพ Knows multiple commands
๐Ÿพ Smart and treat motivated
๐Ÿพ Loves water and swimming
๐Ÿพ Has his own adorable handshake
๐Ÿพ Has successfully shared kennel space with other dogs

Polaris may look like a big, serious guy, but during his previous stay at OCAS, staff described him as โ€œan incredibly big and soft teddy bear.โ€ They wrote that once he warmed up, he became a giant puppy who wanted to climb into your lap for attention and love. ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿ–ค

Polaris has also shown encouraging history with other dogs. He shared his kennel with multiple dogs during his previous shelter stay and recently shared with Rocky, an intact male. OCAS previously wrote that Polaris โ€œliked the company of other dogs.โ€

Shelter life has been hard on him. Polaris does not like returning to his kennel and has shown concerns around sharing food. He needs out of this stressful environment and into a home where he can decompress.

๐Ÿšจ WE NEED A FOSTER. ๐Ÿšจ

If you are in the Central Florida area and can temporarily open your home to Polaris, PLEASE COMMENT, MESSAGE ME, OR APPLY TO FOSTER WITH A LOCAL RESCUE. A committed foster could be what allows a rescue to say YES and get him safely out of OCAS before his deadline.

You do not have to commit to adopting him to save his life. FOSTERING SAVES LIVES.

๐Ÿ’ฐ PLEASE PLEDGE for Polaris in the comments. Pledges can help encourage a rescue to step up and provide the resources needed for his care.

๐Ÿ’— WILMA A601254

๐Ÿšจ ORLANDO, FL โ€“ DEADLINE TUESDAY 8/4 AT 5 PM ๐Ÿšจ

She looks like she belongs on someoneโ€™s couchโ€”not on a euthanasia list.

Wilma is an affectionate, gentle 8-year-old girl who arrived as a stray just over a week ago. She hasnโ€™t even been given a real chance to find her family before ending up on the deadline list.

She walks beautifully on leash, seeks out affection, and simply wants to be near people. Shelter staff believe she once had a family because she seems so heartbroken and scared to suddenly be alone.

She coexists with other dogs and could share a home with canine siblings after slow introductions.

Wilma may have mastitis and needs evaluation by a full-service veterinarian, but rescue will ensure she receives the care she needs.

๐Ÿก We urgently need a foster.
๐Ÿ’ฒ We need pledges to help a rescue pull her.
๐Ÿฅ Rescue covers approved medical expenses.

After everything sheโ€™s been through, Wilma deserves comfortโ€”not a shelter kennel.

Please foster, share, or pledge for Wilma today.

๐Ÿงก BAMBI A598578

๐Ÿšจ ORLANDO, FL โ€“ DEADLINE TUESDAY 8/4 AT 5 PM ๐Ÿšจ

She already thought she had her happy ending.

Bambi was adopted just one week after arriving as a stray. Then only four days later, she was returned.

Not because she was aggressive.
Not because she was a bad dog.

She simply wasnโ€™t the right fit for the resident cats. There were no altercationsโ€”they just werenโ€™t a match.

Now this beautiful 3-year-old girl is back in the shelter, and sheโ€™s mentally declining. She hates being in her kennel, but the moment she sees a leash, her entire personality comes alive. She becomes happy, wiggly, relaxed, and so excited just to spend time with someone.

Bambi is rescue only, which means she needs a foster home for a rescue to save her.

๐Ÿก We urgently need a foster.
๐Ÿ’ฒ We need pledges to help a rescue commit.
๐Ÿฅ Rescue covers approved medical expenses.

She already lost one home. Please donโ€™t let her lose her life too.

Foster. Share. Pledge. Save Bambi.
