🚨 REMINDER!!! THIS WEEKEND! 🚨

We are seeking VOLUNTEER scripted show actors and atmosphere performers for our living chessboard productions for the Orlando Renaissance Festival 2026 (December 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, & 20) and Space Coast Renaissance Fair 2027 (January 9, 10, 16, & 17)! Have you ever dreamed of performing for a Renaissance Festival and being part of the revel and whimsy? Now is your chance!

LANCE Orlando Fall/Winter show auditions will be held:

July 11 & 12, 12:00-5:00pm in the New Generation Theatrical space at the Orlando Fashion Square Mall.
Be sure to drive to the correct location:
New Generation Theatrical
3201 E Colonial Dr Suite M11
Orlando, FL 32803

Necessary callbacks and chemistry readings will be July 18 & 19, 12:00-5:00pm at the same location! Production teams will reach out to communicate with those needed for the second weekend.

Be honest about your availability for performance dates. Full availability is required for lead roles, but there may be flexibility in casting non-lead roles for the Chessboard shows.

A grand celebration in the Lands of Viera draws together Rome’s most powerful families, celebrated artists, cunning courtiers, and ambitious political minds for a day of pageantry, politics, and spectacle. But beneath the polished manners and lavish gifts, old grudges are waiting for their moment.

When the bitter rivalry between the Borgias and the Medicis erupts into Battle Chess, courtly manners give way to ambition, insult, and intrigue. As alliances shift and an unexpected romance begins to bloom, the players must decide whether loyalty, power, or love will make the next move.

LANCE Orlando is thrilled to announce our living chessboard show for the Orlando Renaissance Festival 2026! Please join us in celebrating our newest stage-combat-filled production…

⚔️ Right to Rule ⚔️

Irish chieftain Gráinne Ní Mháille — known to the English as pirate queen Grace O‘Malley — has come to Orlando with her family and friends to celebrate the birthday of her long-time friend Duchess Rose.

Unbeknownst to the Duke and Duchess, Queen Elizabeth I has also accepted her own invitation to the festivities, bringing with her a small retinue including Richard Bingham, English-appointed Governor of Connacht.

While Gráinne Ní Mháille, Queen Elizabeth I, and the Duchy of Orlando hope for peace at the festival, Richard Bingham is determined to make sure that pirate queen and her crew pay for their crimes. Will negotiations go smoothly, or will Gráinne have to fight for her right to rule?
