From tiny backpacks and first-day jitters to high school hallways and big dreams, Nu Eta Eta Chapter is cheering for EVERY student heading back to school this week! πŸ“šβœοΈβœ¨

To our students: Go learn ALL the things! πŸ§ πŸ’‘
Ask questions. Pay attention. Be kind. Make new friends. Try something new. And remember, you don’t have to know everything on the first day. That’s what the whole year is for! πŸ’š

We’re wishing you a school year filled with SUCCESS, HAPPINESS, GROWTH, CONFIDENCE and plenty of moments that make you proud! 🌟

🚦 CENTRAL FLORIDA DRIVERS, WE HAVE AN ASSIGNMENT TOO!
Leave a little earlier. Slow down. Watch those crosswalks. Stop for our school buses. πŸšŒπŸ›‘

There are excited children, nervous children, distracted teenagers πŸ˜… and families adjusting to new routines on our roads again. No destination is more important than getting our babies to theirs safely. πŸ’š

And when they get home, we know the first question is coming:

β€œHOW WAS YOUR FIRST DAY?!” πŸ˜‚πŸ“š
We can’t wait to hear about it too!

πŸ“ΈπŸ‘‡πŸΎ NOW LET US SEE THOSE SCHOLARS!
Drop your student’s FIRST-DAY PHOTO in the comments, from preschool to senior year! πŸŽ“ Tell us their grade too!

Let’s fill these comments with Central Florida’s future and surround our children in prayer for protection, wisdom, confidence, happiness and an AMAZING school year. πŸ™πŸΎπŸ’šπŸ’›

Have an incredible year, students! Now go learn ALL THE THINGS! πŸŽ‰πŸ““βœοΈ

πŸ’šCalled to Care. Committed to Mentor. Inspired to Lead. πŸ’›

This past week, the Nu Eta Eta Chapter of Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Incorporated nurses had the privilege of participating in the University of Central Florida 2026 Nursing Career Day.

It was a wonderful reminder that nursing is about so much more than clinical skills. We are called to care, to mentor, and to help others discover the many paths this profession can offer.

Our members shared their experiences in medical-surgical nursing, nursing education, Veterans Affairs, and mental health, giving students an honest look at the opportunities that await them. Every conversation, every question, and every story shared was an investment in the future of nursing.

To every future nurse we met: Keep asking questions. Keep learning. Keep believing in yourself. The profession needs your heart, your voice, and your passion.

Because that’s what nurses do.

We care. We mentor. We inspire. πŸ’šπŸ’›

πŸ’šπŸ’› Congratulations to Our Inaugural Will Try Legacy Scholarship Recipient! πŸ’›πŸ’š

The Nu Eta Eta Chapter of Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Incorporated is honored to recognize Tiffari, a nursing student at Herzing University - Tampa, as the very first recipient of the Will Try Legacy Scholarship, proudly sponsored by The Davis Family.

The Will Try Legacy Scholarship was created to honor nursing students who continue to move forward even when the path is anything but easy. It celebrates perseverance, determination, and the belief that you can do anything, if you put your mind to it. With encouragement, mentorship, and the support of family and community, extraordinary things are possible.

From the moment we read Tiffari’s application, her strength stood out. Her commitment to completing her nursing degree while balancing life’s many responsibilities, her years of compassionate service to others, and her unwavering determination to finish what she started embody the very heart of what this scholarship represents. She has shown that resilience isn’t just about overcoming obstacles. It’s about continuing to show up with purpose, compassion, and hope, even when the journey is challenging.

At Nu Eta Eta, we believe that investing in future nurses means investing in stronger families, healthier communities, and a legacy of service. We are incredibly proud to welcome Tiffari as the inaugural recipient of the Will Try Legacy Scholarship and look forward to watching the impact she will make as a registered nurse.

Congratulations, Tiffari! Your journey is just beginning, and your Nu Eta Eta family is cheering you on every step of the way. πŸ’šπŸ’›

πŸ’šπŸ’› Celebrating Our Inaugural Founders Scholarship Recipient πŸ’›πŸ’š

The Nu Eta Eta Chapter of Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Incorporated is honored to congratulate Evelyn, a nursing student at Valencia College, as the very first recipient of our Founders Scholarship.

From the moment we reviewed Evelyn’s application, we saw a future nurse whose resilience, faith, and servant’s heart quietly set her apart. She has embraced new beginnings with courage and academic excellence. All while staying true to her servant heart through service in her church and community. Her story is a reminder that some of the brightest lights are shaped through perseverance long before the world ever notices.

Evelyn, today you receive more than a scholarship. You become part of a family. A family of mentors, nurses, educators, friends, supporters and cheerleaders who will celebrate your successes, encourage you through challenges, and remind you that you never walk this path alone. When one nurse grows, entire communities are strengthened.

You are an the embodiment of the verse, β€œLet there be light.” Our organization was founded on this sentiment and we see that light in you. May your light continue to guide your purpose, inspire your compassion, and shine brightly into every patient, family, and community you come in contact with.

We were also honored to celebrate this milestone alongside the Valencia College Nursing Program leadership, whose support reflects the power of educators, mentors, families, and healthcare leaders investing in the next generation of nurses.

Congratulations, Evelyn. We cannot wait to watch your story continue to unfold. Hugs from your Nu Eta Eta family. πŸ’šπŸ’›

Leadership isn’t just about the title you hold. It’s about the people you learn from, the connections you build, and the impact you bring back home.

What an incredible few days at the 2026 Chi Eta Phi Leadership Summit! Nu Eta Eta was proud to have nearly our entire Executive Board in attendance, investing in ourselves so we can better invest in our members, our local nurses, and the Central Florida community we serve.

From governance and innovation to fundraising, mentorship, executive presence, and community engagement, every session challenged us to think bigger, lead stronger, and serve with even greater purpose. The networking, collaboration, and shared wisdom from nurse leaders across the nation reminded us that when we learn together, we all rise together.

A heartfelt thank you to every mentor, presenter, panelist, and leader who poured into us throughout the summit. Your willingness to share your experiences, lessons learned, and vision for the future of nursing leadership has equipped us with tools we couldn’t wait to bring home.

A very special congratulations to our National 2nd Vice President, Dr. Angela R. Jourdain, for your putting together such a phenomenal leadership summit. Your dedication, excellence, and commitment to developing leaders continue to inspire us all.

And to our National President, Dr. Samantha Agee, thank you for always leading in grace, poise, familiarity, strength, and faith. Your vision for Chi Eta Phi and your commitment to providing information that strengthens chapters across the nation never goes unnoticed. Job exceptionally well done!

β€œVision without action is a hallucination.” We didn’t come home with just ideas. We came home with a plan. Watch what happens next. πŸ’šπŸ’›
