February 2026 Newsletter
Greetings fellow Light Bearers in the Majestic name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! I am grateful to be able to come to you with an update from the Mission Field. This is the first newsletter that I am writing in the year 2026. By the grace of God, I was able to take a sabbatical during the months of December and January. In over 15 years of ministry I have never taken that much consecutive time off. I spent those days with my wife and children enjoying the beautiful Thailand winter weather. Early morning coffees outside in front of my home enjoying the cooler temperatures was more needed than I realized. As I typically travel fifty percent of the time, my ladies enjoyed having me home every single night for two months! Even though my sabbatical ended in the month of February, I was able to be home every night again for one more month because all of our work during the month of February was in Chiang Mai where we live.
🔥Historic Launch of the Light Bearers Evangelism Academy (LBEA)
During the month of February we launched the Light Bearers Evangelism Academy. The LBEA is a one month training that we created to equip Evangelists to work in the Restricted Nations within the 10/40 Window. This specialized training was designed to help Christians share their faith with Muslims, Buddhists, and those of other religions. The harsh reality is that there are not enough Christian workers or resources being appropriated or sent to the 10/40 Window. We are endeavoring to change that statistic through this one of a kind school.
🔥33 Students Graduated the Inaugural LBEA
We had 33 students attend and graduate this inaugural class of the Light Bearers Evangelism Academy. We were blessed to have students join us here in Chiang Mai, Thailand from all around the world. Students joined us from Thailand, Myanmar, Pakistan, Australia, Germany, and the USA. We have countless testimonies from students that they have never experienced a training like the LBEA before. We thank God for His faithfulness and for all of the amazing students that attended this inaugural LBEA. I am pleased to announce that REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN for the February 2027 LBEA. We believe that the 10/40 Window is the final frontier in Missions. God is raising up more laborers to run into the Harvest Fields of the Restricted Nations. It would be our joy and a privilege to help you in any way that we can to navigate that call upon your life.
🔥Immediate Impact!
Upon graduating the LBEA, five of the students served with us on the frontlines in Pakistan. Two of the students even stayed with our Mission 10/40 Team through the entirety of our journey to the Unreached Kalash Tribe in Northern Pakistan. It was so amazing to watch these students immediately put into practice what they had learned during the entire month of February. Our goal is not only to train Evangelists to work in these difficult places in the world, but to open doors for them as well.
🔥Launch of the Light Bearers Global Coalition (LBGC)
At the end of the LBEA we made a special announcement. Lionface Ministries has launched the Light Bearers Global Coalition. The LBGC is an international alliance comprised of churches, ministries, businesses, entrepreneurs, and individuals with one common goal in mind: To bridge the gap between followers of Christ in the Restricted Nations of the world and those living in the Non-restricted Nations. We are working to integrate the Church that is enduring consistent, religious persecution with those Believers who have yet to share in this type of suffering. It is our desire to connect like-hearted Believers from around the world to work together in the Mission 10/40 Initiative.
