4Roots is an Orlando based nonprofit community alliance dedicated to building a better food future and ending food insecurity in our community. In 2019, the organization began laying the foundation for its farm campus in the heart of Orlando to serve as a community crossroads where individuals and organizations work together to engage a holistic approach to food systems change, focusing on health, education, economic development, and sustainability.

As we head into one of the most bountiful seasons of the year, we’re excited to share our Fall Farmers Market schedule.

Right now, our Farmers Markets are held on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month, so there are no more markets in August. Our next market will be Saturday, September 12.

But good news! Beginning this October, our Farmers Markets will be held EVERY SATURDAY. 🎉

And just like that, our 2026 4Roots summer interns have graduated! 🎓🌱

From the Farm Campus to Events, Philanthropy, Meet the Need, Marketing, and Fresh by 4Roots, our interns brought energy, creativity, curiosity, and dedication to every corner of 4Roots this summer.

Beyond their day-to-day contrubutions, each intern had the opportunity to take on special projects that showcased their unique talents, explored their interests, and made a meaningful impact.

A few highlights: 
🌩️ Ellisha (Marketing) created engaging farm content, including educational posts about how lightning benefits plants.

🥭 Landon (Fresh by 4Roots) helped bring a new dried mango product to life, from concept to label.

🌱 Adam, Olivia, Christopher & Xavier (Farm Campus) tested new organic products and collected valuable data on turf and plants.

🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 Maddie (Philanthropy & Meet the Need) helped organize and streamline volunteer information, creating easy-to-use resources that support our team and the communities we serve.

🎉 Jacksin & Yves (Events) went from helping set up events to confidently running them on their own!

As a cohort, our interns also explored future career paths through our Beyond the Field series, with behind-the-scenes experiences including a tour of Everoak Farm and Living with the Land at EPCOT.

Congratulations, 2026 interns! We can’t wait to see where the passions, skills, and experiences you gained at 4Roots take you next. 🌱
