We were blessed to begin our recent Board Meeting with Mass in the Chancery Chapel, celebrated by Fr. Zachary Parker, Director of Vocations, and joined by Bishop Noonan and Fr. Matthew Hawkins, our Spiritual Director.

Following Mass, Fr. Zachary joined our Board Meeting to share the encouraging work taking place in vocations throughout the Diocese of Orlando and give us a glimpse into the journeys of our diocesan seminarians. He also expressed his gratitude to the Foundation and, especially, to the generous donors whose support of the Seminarian Fund and other donor-designated vocation funds helps provide the financial resources our seminarians need as they discern and prepare for the priesthood.

It was a beautiful reminder that generosity today helps form the priests who will serve God’s people for generations. We are grateful for the gift of vocations and for all those who faithfully respond to God’s call.

Faces of Philanthropy Friday – Meet Lisa Oliveras

Recently promoted to Planned Giving Specialist, Lisa has dedicated the past seven years to serving the nonprofit community, including the last three at The Catholic Foundation of Central Florida. In her role, she helps individuals and families create lasting legacies of faith by supporting the parishes, schools, and ministries they love.

For Lisa, planned giving is much more than financial support, it's a profound expression of faith. As a commissioned notary, she is also available to provide secure online notary services, making it easier for individuals and families to complete important estate planning documents from the comfort of their home. It's just one more way The Catholic Foundation is helping our community plan for the future with confidence.

Outside of her work, Lisa enjoys traveling with her husband and their chihuahua, Kujo, discovering new places and making memories together.
