Campus Peace Action UCF

Campus Peace Action UCF Together we hope to build a community ready to fight for justice as political activists, environmentalists, and community volunteers.

Come join us this semester to spread the message of love, peace, and acceptance. CPA works with the Orlando/Global community through volunteerism, mindfulness, the arts, political/social activism and community events. Campus Peace Action also holds Tent City, a FREE event at UCF that is unlike any other…
Thanks to the generous support of the UCF Arboretum, CPA hosts a weeklong camping music and ar

ts festival where students are encouraged to attend volunteer-run workshops throughout the day, and come out to dance and enjoy live music and a free vegan meal each night. Tent City is a time where students can connect with one another through knowledge expansion, artistic outlets, and music. If you have anything you would like to teach an audience through a workshop, or are a musician who would like the opportunity to be a Tent City performer, please contact us. President: Maia Doughtie

Hey everyone! Thanks so much for coming out to Tent City! We had a lot of fun. Just wanted to let you know we won’t be meeting at the gazebo this week, but look out for our event page for next week’s meeting.
Also, right next to where we just had Tent City, UCF is building a cell tower where the old community garden was and have already begun clearing trees in the area. Tomorrow there will be an occupation to protest the tower as it was built with no regard to UCF’s students values. See the link below for an event page with more information:

Hey y'all!

We've got a great meeting planned for this week Thursday on the current state of DACA recipients and how these issues are affecting our campus. We will have guest speaker Karen Caudillo to talk on the matter.

Tomorrow we'll also be volunteering at the campus swap shop on Memory Mall from 10am-2pm and would love for you to stop by if you get the chance!!

Also, in case you haven't heard, Tent City has been moved to the Spring Semester and will take place from Jan. 15-20.
We're in the process of contacting performers of all types as well as anyone who would like to lead a workshop so if you would be interested in getting involved or know someone who does, send them our way!! We're also looking for friends who would like to assist with running the event if that's more you're thing, so let us know and we hope to hear from you all soon!
