December 2015 marked the formation of the Global Touch Foundation. For the past 14+ years, I have been working with Jonathan Bertrand, the Founder of Global Touch Foundation, on raising awareness about the hazards of social media. Schools, Universities, Businesses, and the Armed Forces are our main target markets for our course curriculums. Due to the overwhelming death rate of children who are bullied, children are the primary focus of our work. Many children find it amusing to harass others via the social platforms they have at their fingertips. It's impossible for children to recover from deep depression and find social acceptance when they fall into it. What is the importance of social acceptance? Well, 4500 children die every year due to depression caused by Social Media and that number is increasing. That's approximately 12 children a day. These children feel alone and usually don't speak to their parents. Our hopes are to encourage the bullied to speak, and parents to be informed. Eventually, we will address Congress with harsh penalties for those who belittle children who use the internet. Parents often say their children are their world, that family is everything....Well here's your chance to get involved. What would the safety and well-being of your children be worth? We can't save the lives of those who have committed su***de already, BUT we can make a difference to the children who are still with us. We also explore the Mental and Behavioral Health issues associated with Social Media abuse. We have received Congressional recognition already for our contributions to the betterment of society. We are looking for investors and donations. Yes, we have an LLC and a 501(3)c. May 2021, SMRI (Social Media Research Institute) was created.
