Girls on the Run Central Florida We inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum

Girls on the Run is a transformational physical activity based positive youth development program for girls in 3rd-8th grade. We teach life skills through dynamic, interactive lessons and running games. The program culminates with the girls being physically and emotionally prepared to complete a celebratory 5k running event. The goal of the program is to unleash confidence through accomplishment while establishing a lifetime appreciation of health and fitness.

Girls on the Run Central Florida is welcoming girls for our Fall Season! Through fun, interactive activities led by trained coaches, girls learn to:

✨ Build confidence
🎯 Set and achieve goals
💪 Develop healthy habits
👯‍♀️ Make new friends
🏃‍♀️ Get moving and have fun!

The season meets twice a week and ends with our exciting Celebration 5K, where girls get to celebrate everything they’ve accomplished with family and friends! 🎉

As a Girls on the Run volunteer coach, you'll help girls build confidence, develop healthy habits, and discover their limitless potential through fun, engaging lessons and physical activity. Every practice is an opportunity to inspire, encourage, and make a lasting impact.

We're currently recruiting volunteer coaches to serve girls across Central Florida this fall.

To start, you do not have to be a runner, quit your job, or have a child on the team. We provide training and all the supplies that you need.
