Celebrating visual artist Kandy G. Lopez, winner of the 2025 Florida Prize: People's Choice Award at the Orlando Museum of Art. Congratulations, Kandy!

Lopez's work deeply resonated with the public and within the arts community, whose votes made her this year's choice to receive this meaningful award. At the conclusion ceremony of the Florida Prize exhibition, she was celebrated as part of an outstanding curatorial selection by Coralie Claeysen-Gleyzon, Chief Curator at OMA, featuring Florida artists Nathalie Alfonso (winner of the Florida Prize by jury), Eddie Arroyo, Leo Castaneda, Kelly Joy Ladd, Amanda Linares, Jiha Moon, Troy Simmons, Cornelius Tulloch, and Lisu Vega.
