There is a difference between conviction and condemnation.

Conviction comes from God to correct you, restore you, and draw you closer to Him. It points out the sin, but it also points you to grace, repentance, and transformation. Conviction says, “What you did was wrong, but God is calling you higher.”

Condemnation comes from the enemy to shame you, trap you, and make you feel hopeless. It attacks your identity instead of correcting your actions. Condemnation says, “You are wrong, you will never change, and God cannot use you.”

Conviction produces repentance.
Condemnation produces bo***ge.

Conviction leads you to the cross.
Condemnation pushes you away from it.

The Holy Spirit corrects with love.
The enemy accuses with shame.

“For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.”

“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus.”

Do not confuse God correcting you with the enemy condemning you. One is trying to transform you.

The other is trying to destroy your confidence in who God called you to be.

Contrary to popular belief…

Holiness is still right.
The blood still works.
And Jesus is still soon to come.

We are living in a generation that wants the power of God without the purity of God, the promise without the process, and the crown without the cross.

But truth does not change with culture. God is still calling His people to live set apart.

This is not the hour to blend in.
This is the hour to consecrate.

This is the hour to repent, pray, and return to the presence of God.

There is a difference between having an encounter with God and having an experience with Him.

An experience may touch your emotions for a moment, but an encounter will transform your life forever. An experience can make you feel something, but an encounter changes who you are.

Many people experience church, worship, or even the presence of God temporarily, yet leave unchanged. But when you truly encounter God, you cannot remain the same.

Moses had an encounter at the burning bush and never returned to being just a shepherd. Jacob wrestled with God and walked away with a limp and a new identity. Saul encountered Jesus on the road to Damascus and became Paul. An encounter leaves evidence.

“An experience may move your emotions, but an encounter with God will transform your identity.”

Isaiah 6:1-8 Isaiah encountered the holiness of God and immediately recognized his condition and calling.
