🐾‼️Duke UPDATE ‼️🐾

This beautiful boy was discharged from MVMC and is starting to settle in at our facility!

He will get a recheck of all bloodwork after 5-7 days on his steroid treatment and will be able to begin a standard regimen should everything look good! 🤞🤞

Addison’s disease is lifelong, and in some dogs can shorten their life expectancy.

We are committed to getting Duke feeling like his old self so he can start living his best life again ❤️

This is Duke--

He came to us from Anson County Animal Shelter last year and has been in a home for over a year.

Duke is currently at Maine Veterinary Medical Center in Scarborough, Maine in the ICU for symptoms of an Addisonian crisis--

This means he may have been struggling with Addison's disease which, untreated, progressed to an attack on many of his vital systems.

Duke is one in a million 💙! He is kind, goofy, dog friendly, and an enthusiastic partner in all ways.

MVMC's estimate for the remainder of Duke's hospital stay is $1500-$2300. We have paid $2300 towards his care thus far.

Duke will return to our facility in NH after he is stabilized, which will be anywhere from 24-36 hours from now.

Cleopatra!! The queen of all the dogs here--seriously!

She is regal, passionate, strong--all queen like traits.

She is also sooo silly, can climb a 6ft fence with ease, has confidence without bounds, and wants to be toching at ALL times!!

Despite her breeds and her athelticism, she is veryyy low drive compared to our other Mals and Shepherds. She loves loves loves to play, with humans and animals.

Cleo came from a home with many animals and children, through no fault of her own. She has been gaining social skills, confidence in the outside world, and basic cues and leash manners. She is an exceptional demo dog already and would love a sport home!

SHE LOOOVESSS TO SWIM!!!

Cleo is an absolute doll with all people--she greets strangers like they are long lost friends! She even greets the VET this way!!

Seriously--she is one of a kind. We love her so so much! She makes us laugh avery single day, and her obsessive affection for humans is so endearing and almost infectious.

Breed experienced homes will be given preference, as well as homes with other dogs. Cleopatra is best with dogs similar in confidence and age, as she can bully the weak or old when she is bored.

Cleo is about 55lbs and super lean. She will be spayed prior to adoption.

Training classes or private training in Orford, NH are included in their adoption for free!

If you're looking for a high-energy, active, outgoing dog that can also be a couch potato, Nugget is your girl. Nugget loves playing ball ⚽️ and could all day. She will make sure to zoom it right back to you as quick as possible; she quite literally is the fastest 🏃🏃 dog alive. Nugget is housebroken, crate trained, and would love a human or humans to snuggle with. Nugget is good with children of all ages. Nugget has lived with other dogs before but would do best in a home either as an only dog or a home that has a very laid-back dog. If you're looking for a outgoing, confident, adventrous sidekick, Stella is your girl. Stella loves being outdoors with her humans especially if there is a game of fetch involved, she would play until the sun goes down. She is good with cats and loves other dog friends and would prefer to have a four legged sibling in the house. Stella has lived with children for a short period and would prefer children over the age of 8. Stella temporarily expierenced city life and found out that she would much rather live in a rural area with a fenced in yard or, better yet, she would love to be a farm girl.
