Dog fair 2026 is in the books. Congratulations to all of our exhibitors. Huge thank you to Grange Co-op and Southern Oregon Kennel Club for the donations that allowed the kids to enjoy some amazing awards.
I tried to get some pictures but wasn't overly successful. If anyone has some, please feel free to share. Huge thank you to the expo staff for making sure we had everything we need, and allowing us to come in last night at 9pm to set up the ring.
Thanks to Arlene Dickinson for all your help, and taking on the goodie bags. Also to Kristy Grieve for ordering and paying invoices for our awards.
Huge thanks to Kristy Kiser Artman for being our judge.

We are less than a week away from the Jackson county 4-H Dog fair. I am still working hard behind the scenes putting last minute things together. 🥵 But I am excited to reward everyone's hard work. Please invite family and friends.

Thanks!

IMPORTANT DATE:
Record check-in date on May 21st, 4-6 pm at the Extension office. Kids will bring their dog records ( including vaccines) for fair check in instead of doing it the day of fair. This will be the way records will be checked from here on out. We will NOT be doing any records at fair.

Huge thank you to all the members who came out to our handling clinic taught by D.j. Longbrake and Arlene Dickinson
The kids and the dogs did great and were so receptive to learning.

We have BIG things happening. We are so EXCITED to partner up with the Southern Oregon Kennel Club and offer not 1, but 2 scholarship opportunities to our Dog 4-H kids.
The first one is a 1,000 dollar scholarship being offered.
The second is a 500 dollar scholarship to a member that will be doing specialty certification for a veterinary assistant course.

We cannot thank the Southern Oregon Kennel Club enough for their support, and keeping our sport of dogs and responsible pet ownership alive.
