🎄✨ Thank You for Spreading Holiday Warmth! ✨🎄

This holiday season, we want to send a heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated clothing to The Nurture Network’s clothing drive. Because of your incredible generosity, we were able to donate 1,700 items to the Department of Human Services, helping bring warmth, comfort, and dignity to individuals and families in need.

Your kindness truly embodies the spirit of Christmas—giving, compassion, and looking out for one another. Each coat, sweater, and pair of shoes represents hope and reminds someone that they are seen, valued, and supported during the holidays.

From all of us at The Nurture Network, thank you for making this season brighter and warmer. We couldn’t do this work without a community like you. ❤️🎁

✨ Accepting Donations to Support Foster Kids & Survivors ✨

We’re currently collecting new or gently used clothing in all sizes to help foster children in need feel comfortable, confident, and cared for. We are also gratefully accepting toys, books, and essential household items such as pots, pans, and kitchenware.

Every donation makes a difference:

💛 Items that go unused by foster kids are passed forward to domestic violence survivors who are rebuilding their lives and starting fresh.

Your generosity helps provide safety, dignity, and a fresh start for individuals and families in our community.

Thank you for giving hope where it’s needed most!

This Thanksgiving, our hearts are full. 🤎🍂

We are incredibly thankful for everyone who has donated to The Nurture Network this year. Your generosity has helped children and adults in DHS feel supported, seen, and cared for — and that is something truly worth celebrating today.

The Nurture Network crew is bursting with gratitude — thanks to YOU, our amazing community, we collected over 1,000 clothing donations! 👚🧥👖
All those bags of love have officially been dropped off at the Department of Human Services, ready to bring warmth, comfort, and confidence to children and adults who need a little extra care right now.
To everyone who cleaned out a closet, shared our posts, or showed up with a bag (or three 😏) — you didn’t just donate clothes, you donated HOPE.
We’re reminded once again that when our community shows up, we show OUT. 💪💞

🧥💛 Let’s Nurture Our Community Together! 💛🧥

Hey friends! The Nurture Network is attending a heartwarming (literally!) event, and you’re invited!

Join us at the Old K-Mart Building (440 NW Burnside Rd, Gresham, OR 97030) for our Coat & Clothing Drive for Kids in Foster Care, happening November 28th–30th, from 10 AM to 5 PM each day! 🎉

We’re gathering up all the cozy essentials — coats, shirts, pants, hats, gloves, sweatshirts, shoes, and more — for kids and teens in foster care. But that’s not all! We’re also accepting gently used clothing in all sizes for anyone in need, plus cash donations to help spread even more warmth this winter. 🧤👕👖

Got a favorite jacket that deserves a second life? Or maybe those shoes your kid outgrew after one wear? Bring them on down! Just make sure everything is gently used and full of love — we’ll take care of the rest. ❤️

✨ Why it matters: Every coat, every hoodie, every dollar helps make a difference. You’re not just donating clothes — you’re wrapping a child in comfort, confidence, and care.

Healing from domestic violence (DV) trauma can look different for everyone. Having the support of a confidential advocate can be a great first step.

At ODHS, we are working to become a more trauma-informed organization. That’s why, in addition to the services we can offer as a state agency, some ODHS offices partner with DV advocates who offer support onsite, providing a safe way to share your situation, discuss options, and plan your next steps on your journey toward healing. These advocates are from local community-based agencies and are not State of Oregon employees, which means they are a fully confidential support.

🌱 Support The Nurture Network’s Launch

Help Us Build Brighter Futures for Children in Foster Care

The Nurture Network is a start-up nonprofit dedicated to helping children in foster care by connecting community resources and support to build brighter futures.

We believe every child deserves to feel seen, supported, and nurtured — and our goal is to create a strong network of care that brings together individuals, organizations, and local services to meet their needs.

Before we can officially begin this important work, we need help covering our startup costs so we can become a fully operational nonprofit organization.

Your donation will help cover:
• Filing for 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status
• Business insurance to protect our work and volunteers
• Required licenses and permits
• Marketing and outreach to connect with community partners
• Phone and email services for reliable communication
• And other essential setup expenses

We’re raising $1,000 to cover these foundational costs and launch The Nurture Network on a solid footing.

As we’re still in the process of obtaining our 501(c)(3) status, donations are not yet tax-deductible — but every contribution directly supports the creation of a network that will positively impact the lives of children in foster care.
