Battle for the Bridge Battle for the Bridge is series of athletic contests between Oregon City and West Linn High School Alumni and supports the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Battle for the Bridge is a 501c3 non profit who host a series of athletic contests between Oregon City and West Linn High School Alumni and supports the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. These two schools have met on the football field every year since 1921. They are now coming together to raise Cystic Fibrosis awareness and to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. This event was started in 20

11 by two West Linn High School alumni, one of them being the father of a CF patient. The idea was to do something different to raise money to help find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis. They decided on the alumni football game because this rivalry is something that the people of West Linn and Oregon city are very passionate about, and it’s a great way to introduce new people to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
