Two weeks ago we were celebrating Jesus’ love at Camp Agape… today we baptized four campers at our annual beach baptism event! “Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too may walk in newness of life.” — Romans 6:4 (NASB)

Children from difficult circumstances will arrive carrying not just backpacks...

But also questions, fears, and hopes they may not even know they have.

By the end of the weekend, our prayer is they'll leave carrying something much greater...

Joy.
Belonging.
Faith.

God has entrusted us with something precious:

Our children.

They are young lives filled with potential, purpose, and dreams. And we have a responsibility to nurture them, guide them, encourage them, and remind them of how deeply they are loved.

For children facing the challenges of having an incarcerated parent, that responsibility becomes even more important.

They deserve to know that their circumstances do not define them.
They deserve safe places to grow.
They deserve mentors who believe in them.
They deserve opportunities to laugh, explore, build friendships, discover their gifts, and experience the love of God.

Camp Agape is more than a weekend away.

It's an opportunity to pour into children, strengthen relationships, build confidence, and create memories that remind them they are seen, valued, and loved.

🙏 God has entrusted these children to us.

Let's honor that responsibility.

Let's love them, encourage them, pray for them.

And let's give them every opportunity to become the people God created them to be.

Together, we can help break the cycle.
