Members of the Star Wars community are deeply saddened by the passing of Marcia Lucas. Marcia’s impact on Star Wars was largely behind the screen, as she worked on editing “Star Wars” and “Return on the Jedi,” which earned her an Academy Award. Her passion and love for Star Wars touched the lives of countless fans and will live on in her memory.

The members of the Star Wars community are deeply saddened by the passing of beloved voice actor Tom Kane, a treasured friend and honorary member of the Star Wars Clubs. Tom brought many characters to life, including Yoda, Admiral Ackbar, Boba Fett, Qui-Gon Jinn, as well as being the narrator of The Bad Batch, and the familiar voice heard throughout Disney World as the announcer in the parks and on the Monorail.

Beyond his incredible talent, Tom was known for his kindness and generosity. He regularly donated autographs to support children’s charities. Tom always took time to help the charities at the events he attended. His warmth, humor, and passion touched so many people. Tom will be greatly missed by fans and friends alike.
