Our 2025 campaign has been wrapped up and the numbers are in. 601 total people in our county were helped by the St. Nicholas Project this year. That is simply incredible! Thank you to the many individuals, organizations, and businesses who held fundraisers, and donated money, gifts, and/or time. Thank you to the many cookie bakers and hat and mitten knitters in our county. Thank you to the Knights of Columbus for the jacket donations for children. Thank you to the area churches who had sock/hat/mitten/scarf donations. Thank you to the Toys for Area Youth group for providing many toys for families to choose from. Thank you to those of you who made memorial donations in honor of loved ones who have served St. Nicholas in the past. Thank you to Strong Dental for the toothbrushes and toothpaste. Thank you to all who donated books for the children. Thank you to our buyers who find the best deals to make the donations go far. Thank you to the school TANGO group for the amazing help with set up and clean up. Thank you to our area newspapers, the radio station, and all the Facebook followers who spread the information about this group and its needs. And thank you to the committee workers who give their time and energy to such a worthy cause. If I forgot anyone, please know that your generosity is so appreciated! This year's theme was Wrapped in Love. We sincerely hope that our community feels this and sees all the good that comes from Ontonagon County. Happy holidays to you all!
