Huge thanks to Tracie and her team for this generous donation to our fundraiser! It's not too late to donate prizes, or to buy your tix! You can visit .chb for physical tickets (during business hours, check Google for operating hours) or visit the link in our bio for online ticket purchases.

All funds raised will go to help dogs in need. We pay for medical bills, training tools, quality food while the dogs decompress and learn what love and care feels like. We do not charge surrender fees, and we rely solely on donations and our yearly fundraiser to pay for all expenses. We are 100% foster home based and volunteer run. We are also a Canadian federally registered charity and are able to write tax receipts for donations. We have an amazing team of fosters and board members that help HCPR run day to day. We cherish them dearly.

Zuva is a big puppy, loads of puppy energy and still figuring life out. She needs a home with large dog experience as she has some behavior we are working on. She is very food motivated and trainable with the right tools. Walking on leash is not one of her strong suits and shows signs of leash frustration. She would do best with a very active family who has an active dog in the home already.

She needs structure and continued training when she finds a home. She responds well to correction, but needs a patient home to help her get to 100%.

🐾 Meet Freddie — Your New Snuggle Buddy! 🐾

Freddie is a chocolate Biewer Terrier who will be 3 years old on February 7, 2026, and he’s ready to find his forever family 💙

This sweet, cuddly boy absolutely loves to snuggle and be close to his people. Freddie would do wonderfully in a home with another friendly doggo, but he’d be just as happy being the center of attention and soaking up all the love for himself.

Freddie has adapted beautifully to a routine and is crate trained when left alone, making him a great companion for a structured home.

🩺 Medical Notes (minor & manageable):
• Requires a special urinary diet
• Lyme positive, but has had a full veterinary check-up confirming no current issues
