Date: Saturday, June 6th
Division: Girls U12

When I (Coach Kim) volunteered to coach our very first U12 Girls team, my first reaction was panic. But when I panic, I do what I always do—I reach out for help.

Marissa was the first person I texted and asked to join me on the sidelines. The moment she said yes, I felt a little more confident. I still knew we needed more support, so I reached out to Matt Zellen. Matt brought Greg with him, and together this coaching staff became so much more than a group of volunteers.

Over the course of this season, we didn't just grow as coaches—we became a soccer family.

Marissa and I learned so much throughout the season. From Matt's endless dad jokes that somehow kept practices fun and motivating, to Marissa and me being the team's loudest cheerleaders on the sidelines, every coach brought something special to this group. Watching these girls grow in confidence, skill, and teamwork each week was an incredible experience.

The hard work and dedication of these volunteers directly contributed to the success of our season. Together, we finished with:

⚽ 55 Goals Scored
🧤 34 Saves
🏆 6 Wins
💜 1 Loss
🥅 Only 11 Goals Conceded

Throughout the season, we recognized our players with Player of the Game awards, celebrating their growth, effort, sportsmanship, and teamwork. For our final game, we decided to flip the script and let the girls help us recognize the coaches who had been supporting them all season long.

Each coach received a Coach of the Game badge, and the girls were all part of making it happen.

While the numbers are impressive, they don't tell the whole story. This season was about much more than wins and goals. It was about building confidence, friendships, teamwork, and a love for the game. None of that happens without players who show up ready to learn and coaches who show up ready to teach.

Thank you to our players for trusting us, working hard, and making every practice and game worth it. And thank you to Marissa, Matt, and Greg for taking a chance on this team and helping make our first U12 Girls season one to remember.

🔥⚽️ PLAYER OF THE GAME ⚽️🔥
Date: Saturday, June 6th
Division: U12
Player: Kayden Judson
Coach: Alex & Maranda
Notes from Coach:
Kayden is a brick wall… with a giant “hug me” sign painted across it.

Shot after shot came flying in all season and Kayden kept turning them away with confidence, toughness, and some seriously impressive saves. But what makes Kayden stand out isn’t just being an amazing goalie—it’s the energy he brings to the team. Positive attitude, encouraging teammates, staying locked in, and making everyone around him better.

Fearless in goal, supportive everywhere else. Big saves, big smiles, and an even bigger impact.

🔥⚽️ PLAYER OF THE GAME ⚽️🔥
Date: Saturday, June 6th
Division: U10
Player: Oakley Jeppesen
Coach: Alaina & Jace
Notes from Coach:
Every team has that player.

The one who is stubborn. The one who is hard-headed. The one who thinks every coaching suggestion is more of a recommendation than a requirement.

For us, that’s Oakley.

And while he’s still learning that soccer is a team sport, there is one thing nobody can question: when Oakley is on defense, he is an absolute force.

He refuses to let a ball get past him. He never wants a break. In fact, if he’s on the sideline, he’s basically still playing from there. His motor never stops.

Today, Oakley was a huge reason the ball stayed far away from our goal. Time after time, he stepped in, shut down attacks, and sent the ball rocketing back the other direction. And when Oakley connects with a kick, there’s a good chance air traffic control needs to be notified because that ball is headed for the stratosphere.

What makes Oakley special isn’t just his toughness—it’s his relentless determination. You never have to wonder if he’s giving everything he has. The answer is always yes.

He may test our patience once in a while, but we’d take that fire and competitiveness on our defense any day.

Great game, Oakley. Keep bringing the intensity. 🚀⚽

🔥⚽️ PLAYER OF THE GAME ⚽️🔥

Date: Saturday, June 6th
Division: U10
Player: Odin White
Coach: Alaina & Jace
Notes from Coach:
I’ve lost count of how many times Jace and I have looked at each other and said, “I can’t believe he’s never played before.”

Today, Odin scored both of our goals and sealed the win, but his impact goes far beyond the scoreboard.

This photo isn’t one of his goals. It’s simply Odin doing what Odin does best—running at full throttle. Every. Single. Time. He never takes a play off. He never coasts. He gives everything he has from
the opening whistle to the final minute.

What impresses me most isn’t just his athletic ability. Most all-stars don’t have the team mentality he does. He’s humble, strategic, and completely invested in the success of the team. He understands the game, works hard, and makes everyone around him better.
And when the opportunity presents itself? Absolute savage.

Odin has the complete package—athleticism, work ethic, intelligence, and character. The foundation is there to do great things, not just in soccer, but in any sport he chooses.

I have a feeling we’ll be hearing his name for a long time.

🔥⚽️ PLAYER OF THE GAME ⚽️🔥
Date: Saturday, May 30th
Division: U12
Player: Jackson Holtzbauer
Coach: Alex & Maranda

Notes from Coach:
Jackson found another gear in midfield today and helped drive the team forward with his energy and effort. He was constantly involved in the action, battling for loose balls, supporting teammates, and helping connect the defense to the attack. Every time the game seemed to need a spark, Jackson was there, covering ground and making things happen. His work rate and determination gave the team a boost all game long, and his growing confidence in the middle of the field was impossible to miss. Congratulations Jackson!
