Millard Women’s Giving Circle

Millard Women’s Giving Circle Great things happen when caring women gather for a common cause. A community of women united to create meaningful change for Millard students. We listen. We vote.

We give.

04/04/2026

After an inspiring evening of presentations and thoughtful discussion, Women’s Giving Circle members have selected this year’s funded project:

✨ Millard South High School

P.A.L.S. - Patriots Accessing Language Support

This impactful project will provide technology to support English Learner students - helping them better understand classroom content, communicate with teachers, and succeed academically. For many students, learning in a new language can feel overwhelming. The P.A.L.S. program helps bridge that gap, making education more accessible, inclusive, and empowering.

We are incredibly proud to support a project that opens doors and creates opportunities for students across our district.

A heartfelt thank you to all three finalist schools for their inspiring ideas and dedication to students, and to our Women’s Giving Circle members for making this meaningful decision together.

This is the power of collective giving. 💚

💚 Finalist Project: Millard North High School

Mental Health Micro-Library & Wellness Wall

Every day, some students walk through the halls carrying more than backpacks - they carry stress, anxiety, and challenges that are not always visible.

This project creates a welcoming, student-accessible space where students can quietly find tools that support mental wellness.
Students will have access to:
• calming kits
• quick guides on coping strategies
• student support resources
• a micro-library with helpful materials

The goal is simple: make mental health support visible, accessible, and stigma-free.

On April 2, Women’s Giving Circle members will vote to fund one of the three finalist projects.

Three Finalist Projects. One Meaningful Impact.

After reviewing inspiring applications from schools across the district, the Women’s Giving Circle Committee has selected three finalist projects that will move forward to the final vote.

Each of these projects addresses an important need for students in Millard Public Schools.

💚 Millard North High School – Mental Health Micro-Library & Wellness Wall
Some students walk through the halls carrying more than backpacks – they carry stress, anxiety, and challenges that are not always visible. This project creates a welcoming space where students can access calming resources privately and without stigma.
Items include wellness wall panels, resource guides, calming kits, and a student-access micro-library.

💚 Millard North Middle School – Every Body Moves: Inclusion in Action
Physical education should be a place where every student belongs. This project will provide adaptive equipment so students in the Alternative Curriculum Program can fully participate alongside their peers.
Equipment includes pedometers, balance and sensory equipment, parachutes, Gaga ball arena, tetherball sets, and activity mats.

💚 Millard South High School – P.A.L.S. – Patriots Accessing Language Support
Students learning English face the challenge of mastering both academic content and a new language. This project will provide technology tools to help English Learner students better understand lessons and communicate with teachers.
Items include iPads, protective cases with keyboards, styluses, headphone adapters, and a secure charging/storage unit.

What happens next?

On April 2, Women’s Giving Circle members will vote to fund one of these three projects.

School representatives from each school will join us to present their proposals and share how this funding would impact their students.

Stay tuned – we’ll keep you updated as we move closer to the final vote. 💚
