Sandy believes no woman should ever stand alone, and she has built so much of her life around that belief. Through Women with Voices, Power Up Leadership Coaching & Consulting, her talk show, podcast, speaking, and coaching, Sandy continues to create spaces where women are encouraged to find their voice and USE IT.

That is exactly what Follow Her Lead is about.

I had the opportunity to sit down with Co-Founder Jessica Jurgensen and my good friend Shellie Hegge Gomes, Director of Primary Care Services, to talk about the women Vita Nova serves and the work happening right here in Nebraska.

Vita Nova is more than a maternity home. It’s a place where pregnant women and single mothers facing homelessness or instability are given the support, resources and opportunity to build a different future for themselves and their babies.

Women deserve more than help getting through a crisis. They deserve the opportunity to move forward.
