GO SUPPORT THIS YOUTH (24th and Lake)
🍋🍬 Always great seeing youth outside doing something positive and learning real-life skills. Today I had to stop and support these young entrepreneurs selling candy and lemonade, and moments like this remind me why youth entrepreneurship matters so much.
It’s bigger than making a few dollars. It’s about confidence, communication, responsibility, customer service, problem solving, and learning what it takes to build something of your own. Every sale becomes a lesson and every interaction helps shape future leaders.
What stood out the most wasn’t just the kids showing initiative—it was seeing parents there supporting, encouraging, and helping create opportunities. That support system matters. When parents and communities invest time into youth ideas, kids start believing their goals are possible.
As someone who runs an entrepreneurship organization, I believe supporting young people when they take action is important. We always talk about creating opportunities—sometimes that starts with showing up, buying a lemonade, and encouraging a dream.
Keep building. Keep supporting. Keep showing the next generation that effort matters. đź’Ż
