Today is the day, Bike Walk Give Day with Bike Walk Nebraska! Strong Towns Omaha is working to make our city safer, healthier, and more connected through hands-on projects and advocacy.

To keep this work going, we’re fundraising for a General Allocation Fund to:
🔨 Expand our bench-building and tactical urbanism efforts
📢 Fund educational materials for smarter growth advocacy

Strong Towns Omaha made great progress on our bench-building efforts during our February session! 🛠️🔨

Last weekend, Strong Towns Omaha got together to build benches. We utilized secondhand materials, our passion for community building, and plans from the Chattanooga Urbanist Society 🔨🪚🤝

We plan to continue building benches this winter and we’re looking for busy but underserved bus stops and public spaces to place them at. Let us know if you have any suggestions!
