ℹ️ The event features Keynote Speaker: Chris Dunn, Nebraska Senior Chapter Director. She will share exciting T1D research updates from the past year and explore her family’s multi-generational journey with T1D, the lifesaving potential of early detection, and the hope made possible through research and community.

Research Opportunity!
Researchers at Creighton University and the University of North Carolina are seeking caregivers of children with type 1 diabetes and their child to participate in a new study that aims to improve child health, family participation, and quality of life. This is a clinical trial to study the impact of a 12-week occupational therapy telehealth intervention for the caregiver/parent of a child living with T1D.

Criteria:
- Caregiver must be > 19 yrs
- Child diagnosed with T1D and 2-11 yrs
- Live > 1 hr from a pediatric endocrinologist in North Carolina, Nebraska, South Dakota, or Kansas
- English-speaking with internet access.

What you receive:
-12 OT sessions OR 3 conversations/activities
-14 week supply of the Dexcom G7 continuous glucose monitor
- $75 in gift cards for participation
