Popsicle Skate Night (PSN) has been growing in the best way 🥰 Y’all have been showing up so strong that we’ve consistently sold out every month (including our upcoming session on the 26th)!

"The Bay has been my home for four years now and has allowed me to be a mentor for so many kids.

With all that this place has provided me, it’s my turn to give back to it.

I am *attempting* to grow a legitimate mustache as part of the Mustache 4 Kids annual charity drive in which they select two non-profit organizations to raise money for!

The Bay provides kids with a safe place to be- we focus on equipping kids with creative outlets such as skateboarding, music, art, and fashion.

We are currently building a new space in Omaha and all the proceeds will be going towards funding the new building. We need all the help we can get to make it the best space possible for our kids!

More partners = more impact 💛 We always love working with our friends at Kids Can Community Center, so it was wonderful to host some of their youth at the BCC for a Field Trip filled with skating and beatmaking. Please help us welcome Chief of Staff, Myeisha Essex; Development Manager, Michaela Weverka; Operations Manager, Joey Lynch; and Omaha Girls Rock Program Coordinator, Erin Feichtinger.

Myeisha says she's excited to be part of an organization that approaches youth engagement and development with creativity and innovation, and she’s looking forward to helping create even more opportunities for young people to thrive. Fun fact: she’s also an actress with a passion for storytelling and the transformative power of the performing arts. Outside of work, she loves taking trips with friends.

Michaela is excited to be part of work that gives young people a place to belong and helps them see what’s possible for their futures. She also loves making sourdough bread and knitting, which honestly feels iconic. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, keeping up with her toddler, and getting outside with their wiener dog, Milo!

Joey is looking forward to the energy of the future Bay Omaha, a space filled with young people skateboarding, making music, gaming, sewing, and creating across all three floors. Fun fact: he’s a co-founder of Tugboat Gallery in Lincoln. Outside of work, he loves spending time in nature with his family.

Erin is thrilled to be part of rebuilding Omaha Girls Rock and helping shape what comes next. She also plays drums in Hair Person, (they're playing at PETFEST literally tonight!). Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, paint-by-numbers, and hanging out with her daughter.

If you create art, clothing, jewelry, prints, or other handmade goods, this is a great opportunity to sell your work, gain experience, and connect with the community 🤝
