🐝🍻 It’s our favorite time of year! Buzzed for Bees is back for the 10th annual celebration at Kros Strain Draft Works

🍺 By enjoying beer, cider, food, and ice cream, a portion of proceeds will go directly to bee conservation efforts through the AAZK Omaha Chapter!

Join us as we “Get buzzed for bee conservation!” 🐝 This family-friendly fundraiser is packed with fun for everyone:

For you conservation supporters…Omaha AAZK holds several fundraisers a year and we wanted to put this on your radar for this Thursday night. It should be a beautiful night listening to music 🎶 , sipping on wine 🍷 all for rhino 🦏 conservation!

It’s National Honeybee Day! 🍯 🐝
We should be thankful to not only this species but many of our local bees that help pollinate the many foods that we eat!

Remember Buzzed for Bees 🐝 🍻 is Friday, October 3rd! Save the date to BEE there!

It's ! Did you know that these and other incredible pollinators are responsible for pollinating approximately one-third of the food consumed in the United States?

Cucumbers, almonds, cherries, avocados, and kiwi are just a few examples of the crops honeybees help to produce.

During a trip away from the hive, a single worker bee can visit anywhere from 50 to 100 flowers, and in their six to eight week lifespan, each worker bee will fly the equivalent distance of 1.5 times the circumference of the Earth - talk about a busy bee!
