📖 🇺🇸 We often think of missions as something that happens "over there"—but the need is right here at home, too.

The share of Americans who identify as Christian has dropped from about 78% in 2007 to roughly 62% today, and nearly 3 in 10 now claim no religious affiliation at all. Among the youngest adults, that figure climbs to around 43%. 🙏

Friends, the mission field is on this side of the ocean, too.

📖 🌏 According to Joshua Project, there are still over 7,000 unreached people groups around the world—communities where the message of Jesus has yet to take root. That means roughly 3.4 billion people live with little or no access to the Gospel.

The 10/40 Window is the rectangular "band" stretching from West Africa across the Middle East and Asia, between 10° and 40° north of the equator. Though it covers a relatively small slice of the globe, it's home to the majority of the world's least-reached people—and the world's poorest, with many living in places where sharing the Gospel is difficult or even dangerous. Only a small fraction of all global evangelism work happens here.

Step Up to Life exists to teach and equip people who will confidently carry the Good News of Jesus to places like the 10/40 Window.

Our new team member, Alex Daum, spent some time with the Bank family last week as he began onboarding with Nick. Here are a couple pics from their adventures--playing dinosaur mini golf and cheering on Logan Bank in a baseball game! 🦕 ⛳

Nick and Alex have an incredible vision for the expansion of Step Up to Life ministry amongst youth demographics, and we're so excited to see what the Lord will lay before us!

🙏 Here are two ways to pray for them this month:

1. Pray that Alex and his family would find a house and that the moving process would be smooth for them! With four children, including a newborn baby girl, this will be a big undertaking.

2. Pray that the Lord would reveal his His plans for SUTL youth expansion to Alex, guiding and directing him, and intersecting his path with the right people at the right times.
