Romans 10:9 doesn't just tell us to confess Jesus as Savior — it says we need to confess Him as LORD.

That word changes everything. 🧠 ❤️
Lordship means surrender, not just agreement.

But, for a lot of people who grew up in church, that distinction was never made clear. They know the verse, but have never given up the right to run their own life.

Brothers and sisters--information and surrender are NOT the same.

God's goodness test is the 10 Commandments — and the passing score is 100%, a feat unachievable by humans. 💛

The moment we get an overinflated sense of our own goodness, we stop seeing our need for a Savior—and that's a dangerous place to be.

Real faith isn't born from the right words at the right time — it grows when someone truly understands what they're saying yes to.

The Step Up to Life process creates that space. We want to create room to see clearly where they stand, what Jesus actually did, and what a genuine response looks like — not rushed, not scripted, and definitely not temporary.

We don't change hearts--God does. And when we stop moving ahead of the Holy Spirit, emotional moments stop being mistaken for eternal ones. ✨
