Meet Nori!
Nori is a 3-year-old black and tan female who has spent her life as a mama, and now it's finally her turn to be loved. She came to us from a breeding situation, and she is ready to find a home where she can shine as the cherished companion she was always meant to be.
And cherished is exactly what she'll make you feel. Nori is an absolute love bug who has never met a stranger — though she may need a moment to decide that. Once she bonds with her person, she takes that job seriously. New faces may earn a bark or two at first, but give her a little time and she'll come around. If you glance her way, she'll trot right over and plant herself at your feet. Sit down and you'll be rewarded with enthusiastic kisses — before she finally melts into your lap for a long, cozy cuddle session. She is the ultimate binge-watching buddy.
Nori is currently working on potty training and doing well. She simply loves being outside so much that the great outdoors can be a bit distracting — there are yards to patrol, sun patches to find, and people to keep an eye on. With patience and plenty of outdoor time, she'll get there.
Leash training is next on her agenda, and she's eager to learn. She is currently fostered in a busy, happy home alongside dogs of all sizes and cats, so she knows how to share her space. She sleeps peacefully in her kennel each night.
Nori has so much love to give. She just needs someone ready to receive it. She will do best with a securely fenced yard and a resident canine companion to serve as a mentor and role model.

New kid on the block! Meet Rascal, a Rat Terrier mix who found himself lost from home, was picked up by animal control, and was not claimed by his family.

Laid back and quiet, this sweet guy seems to be house trained and is cool with other dogs. BUT, Rascal has proved to be an escape artist and can scale a standard chain link fence. Must have 6 foot privacy fence or always be walked on leash for exercise and potty breaks.

He will be available for adoption once his veterinary care has been completed. While he is not yet on the website, adoption applications will be accepted and can be found on our website at www.wagntrainterrierrescue.com

Solara is a sweet, sensitive little Dachshund who is extremely shy and still learning that people can be kind. She needs a calm home, a securely fenced yard, and a resident dog to help her feel safe and build confidence.
