📣 Omaha Parents & Caregivers — The City of Omaha Wants to Hear From You!
The City of Omaha's Poverty Elimination Action Plan (PEAP) is advancing important work in early childhood care and education, workforce development, and dual enrollment.
The Nebraska Legislature passed LB 840 in 2024, requiring Omaha to establish a Poverty Elimination Action Plan (PEAP). As part of its early childhood efforts, the City is conducting a Child Care Needs Assessment to better understand the experiences, challenges, and needs of Omaha families. The message is simple: Thriving Families. A Brighter Omaha.
👨👩👧👦 If you are a parent or caregiver of a child age 12 or younger, they want to hear directly from you!
Your feedback will help the team better understand child care needs and barriers and identify opportunities for solutions the City can advocate for, support, or implement.
