This is AWESOME!!! So many people suffer from this and now they have a chance to take bwck their life and manage their recovery easier!!! This could be a game changer in the opioid epidemic that affects so many people in rural America.

It's those moments where you are completely alone. Then, your thoughts, memories, failures, etc. that eat people up start to stir and eat at you. Not just addicts both actively using and those warriors in recovery but also anybody and everybody that has been through anything. It's the "what ifs" for myself as well as others. WHAT IF I never got in that car accident and started taking percocet and oxycontin regularly, all day every day? WHAT IF I had never been busted and called out for my bu****it. WHAT IF my kids were not coaxed into believing every word bad about me? Let's be honest though, how many people's significant other would not notice someone popping 10 or so pain pills EVERY 2 HOURS day and night? Most definitely they knew and just chose to be a "victim" after the fact. Reflection is a wonderful resource for anyone but it can also open scars that burn and burn no matter what. WHAT IF people let you live your life without throwing stones from your past. Remember this....YOUR PAST DOES NOT DEFINE YOU! YOU DON'T LIVE THERE ANYMORE! Every single person Earth has made a mistake at some point. Find peace in the fact that you look inward and onward rather than throw stones at someone else.

Read through this carefully stopping to self reflect after each one..... Absolutely SO MUCH DEPTH it literally brings tears to my eyes both good and bad! 2023 has started off rough for some people. In the last week I personally have lost 2 people to their addiction. I have so many things I wish I would have said or done differently but I know at the end of the day it is not my fault and that addiction is different for each one of us. Remember to love those you care about and to tell them that while at the same time remembering the life is too short to take anything for granted. If you need someone to talk to or if you know someone who needs someone to talk to please reach out and we will guide them in the right direction as best we can. This is crucial. Personally I struggle with this. Sometimes I think if I ignore it than it will kist get better right? Hello no! The one true thing about problems is that they will continue to be there even if you ignore them. Our mind and body do not function as one. You can work on one repeatedly and get it in great shape and the other can still be a train wreck. Too often we struggle with making sure we work on both diligently. I am honest in saying that I struggle still. The first step is admitting that. The second step is coming up with a plan. The third is implementing the plan and holding ourselves accountable to it. Part of our recovery os being able to hold ourselves accountable to many things but male sure that your Self Care os a top priority.

Someone please tell me why it is almost 2023 and we here in America cannot wrap our minds aroumd the tremendous importance of mental health! We incarcerate more people per capita than any other country, purchase the 4th largest amount of illicit drugs annually, and had over 107,00 overdose deaths in 2021 with over 80,000 of those coming from prescription drugs according to the CDC but yet cannot figure out the absolute connection to mental health issues? I think this is a blatant and most definite CHOICE by those relevant with authority to not address the elephant in the room. The USA spends over $225 BILLION dollars annually as of 2020 data on mental health in a broken system with zero obvious solutions! We must understand and address the issues that addicts deal with mentally if we truly want to help them get into, stay in, and practice recovery long term. All it takes is a lot of awareness, understanding, compassion, forgiveness, and love to truly impact this enormous issue we face. Where will you stand on the ordeal? Remember though, if you ignore a problem or act as of it doesn't exist, it will still be there when you awaken tomorrow....💯💯💯
