Children are often the silent victims of GBV; they not only witness but are forced to absorb and live with it. The effects are far too long-lasting, affecting their life outcomes. It leads to Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), self-identity crisis, anxiety, and, worst of all, su***de, among many more. Without intervention, most of these children become the next generation of survivors or violators themselves. At Blossom Beyond Abuse Foundation, we encourage parents to seek help before it is too late. Prioritize your child's and your mental health by seeking professional counselling.
In the long run, a child's mental health determines the state of the nation tomorrow.

This Mental Health Awareness Month, Blossom Beyond Abuse Foundation chooses to speak out: Gender-Based Violence is a leading cause of mental health crises. The impact doesn't stop at the individual; it ripples through our ecosystem:
• Families lose their foundation of safety, leading to broken homes
• Young ones become defiant, lose hope, and in the most tragic cases, contemplate su***de.
• The Side Effects: Depression and anxiety that can last a lifetime.
Don't wait. Things rarely change for the better on their own. Your safety and your peace are worth more than a "hope" without a foundation. Lastly, seek help from a professional counselor; it isn't a sign of weakness, but it’s the first step to recovery.
