A little PNW rain couldn't dampen our spirits! 🌧️ The Great Olympia Bike Rodeo on Saturday was an absolute blast and we had a fantastic turnout despite the weather!

Putting on an event like this takes a village, and we had the best team on our side. A huge thank you to the Olympia Police Department and Intercity Transit Walk N Roll for partnering with us to teach bike safety and cheer on our riders. And to our rock star volunteers who braved the damp weather, we couldn’t have done it without you! 🚲

Did you take any photos? Drop them in the comments!

Huge shoutout to S.E. Thurston Fire Authority for the fantastic video highlighting our Life Jacket Loaner Board partnership!

We are so proud to work with incredible stewards across Thurston, Mason, and Grays Harbor counties to build and maintain these stations. These cabinets are a vital community safety net, ensuring everyone has access to a life-saving vest before hitting the water.

A massive THANK YOU to all our stewards—your dedication is the heart of this program! 🧡

Let’s get ready for a safe summer. Remember: Life jackets only work if you wear them! 🌊

Is your child’s helmet "Spring Ready?" 🧠✨

The sun is out and the bikes are back! But did you know that a loose or tilted helmet is nearly the same as wearing no helmet at all?

As we get back into the swing of outdoor fun, take a moment to watch this video on how to achieve the perfect fit. It’s the easiest way to ensure your kids stay safe while they explore!

This short video demonstrates the safest way to wear a bike helmet.

Winter is here, and while we want our kids to stay warm, it’s important to remember that bulky coats and snowsuits can interfere with the effectiveness of their car seat. 🧥❄️ If your child is wearing a bulky jacket, don’t be tempted to loosen the harness to make it fit. All that extra air in the coat can make the harness seem secure, but it’s not tight enough to protect them in the event of a crash. The safest option is to adjust the harness when your child is not wearing a snowsuit or heavy coat. Keep them warm by using a blanket or jacket over the harness instead! 🚗 Let’s keep our little ones safe and warm this winter.

This week is Teen Driver Safety Week. We’re celebrating safe driving habits that make a difference.

✨ Most teens buckle up every time.
📵 Most keep their phones down and eyes on the road
🕒 Most know that driving late or with distractions isn’t worth the risk

Join the majority of teens who are driving smart, staying focused, and keeping friends safe!
