Pac. Northwest Fiber Processing Mills!

Welcome to day two of spotlighting PNWFC Business Member Mills. Today we are featuring Evergreen Fleece Processing in Woodinville, WA.

on Facebook

Evergreen Fleece Processing is a Washington‑based mill dedicated to a "No fiber left behind" philosophy. They offer custom carding services for camelid, sheep, mohair & other natural fibers into batts or roving as well as diverse and extensive needle felting services to meet all your felted needs, furthering your fiber into fabric!

Their story is one that resonates with many in our PNW fiber community:

Chuck & Lynne got their start in 2004 breeding alpacas. Like many breeders, they had lots of fleece stored around their property they wanted to add value to, but struggled finding processing services. They also wanted to use ALL their fiber -- not just the 30-40% that is blanket. This fueled their mission of “No Fiber Left Behind."

Chuck & Lynne started offering processing services in the summer or 2011 after a year of due diligence, visiting manufacturers and other mills, research, and even taking the Community Mill course at Gaston College in Charlotte, NC.

Now, they help your fleece meet its creative and marketable potential. They also offer their own line of roving, batts , and pre-felts in a variety of colors and blends. Catch them at on June 6-7 in Monroe, WA!

Visit their website to learn more about their story and snag some of their felted insoles and coasters: www.evergreenfleeceprocessing.com

✨ Member Spotlight Series ✨
Pac. Northwest Fiber Processing Mills!

Last week we shared a PNW fiber fact: there are at least 24 public-facing fiber processing mills in the PNW (WA, OR, ID). Through that post, we learned of another three and more on the way - that's 27 mills!

This week, we're spotlighting three PNWFC Business Member Mills starting with Oregon Wool & Fiber Mill in Sherwood, OR.

Oregon Wool & Fiber Mill

The Oregon Wool & Fiber Mill is an Oregon‑based, woman‑owned, small‑batch mill dedicated to producing exceptional fiber from your sheep, alpaca, and other fiber animals. Founded by Suzanne Campbell and Jane Ratcliff, the mill brings their shared vision for high‑quality, custom fiber processing to life.

Their story is one that rings true throughout the PNW - raw fiber producers & artisans want their wool grown here, milled here, and made (into something) here! Suzanne and Jane answered that call when they made a reality.

Visit their website to learn more about their story and find some of their hand-spinners dream roving: www.oregonwoolandfibermill.com
