Soul singer and songwriter Erica Falls credits her unique vintage sound to her childhood growing up in New Orleans’ 9th Ward, where her parents introduced her to Roberta Flack, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Nina Simone, Sarah Vaughn, and Whitney Houston. Whether on stage or in the studio, she channels a sassy, soulful tone that recalls an earlier era. But Erica cautions her fans: “Vintage soul is not about bringing the listener back to a time of authentic music, it’s about reminding them that it never went anywhere,” she says.

Erica has toured nationally with renowned New Orleans funk band Galactic as their lead vocalist for the last 5 years, but she made the decision to leave that position and nurture her solo career. In 2024, Erica released her new LP ‘Emotions’ with her backing group, Vintage Soul. Written during the pandemic, the full-length studio work reflects Falls’ experience living life as a Black woman during a tumultuous time. With lyrics that invite listeners to ride a roller coaster of human sentiments, Emotions digs deep into love, sadness, frustration, fear, grief, marginalization, joy, doubt, encouragement, and release.

Originally formed to pay tribute to guitar hero and folk legend Jerry Garcia of the Grateful Dead, the Andy Coe Band has evolved into the most impressive psychedelic jam band to come out of the Pacific Northwest. Featuring Andy Coe on guitar, Gary Palmer on keys, Chris Jones on bass, and Scott Goodwin on drums.

We want to thank everyone for coming out to support Patterns Fly at the Eastside, and especially for supporting The Bridge Music Project after their misfortune. Along with Earthbound Productions and Ecstatic's matching donations, we were able to raise over $2,200 for their cause! We (and they) are overwhelmed with your generosity, and it makes us proud to operate in such a supportive community!

We are also collecting **and matching donations up to $500** for The Bridge Music Project by the link below. This is a great opportunity to support a vital local organization in need!

It is with a very heavy heart that we learned that local organization The Bridge Music Project was burglarized this weekend, losing a large number of instruments, amplifiers, mixers, and headphones in a very heartless act. PLEASE consider donating to this amazing cause - The Bridge hosts workshops for students, often in historically underserved communities, to help students create and collaborate to write, record, and perform music. We will also be collecting instruments and donations this Thursday at the Eastside Tavern for the Patterns Fly performance. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting these amazing folks.

Our good friends with The Bridge Music Project were burglarized on the weekend of March 15th and lost a large amount of their equipment, including instruments, amplifiers, mixing consoles, cords and headphones.
